I carry lip gloss and credit cards in my bag and sometimes my phone (rarely). Saying that to say the contents aren’t heavy and my bag is already broken. I think this is a waste of money because I could have just used this 30 something towards a designer bag. Don’t make the same mistake girls!

This bag is ridiculously nice! So soft and creamy smooth, it smells so nice removing from pouch. This is high end leather and worth EVERY SINGLE PENNY. The little pouch is the softest suede like material, and it comes in a pretty box to boot, easy storage is always a plus. Posting lots of pictures, mine did not zip to the very end, not the biggest deal but not worth docking a star. I just received it and loved it so much I had to review. If it doesn’t hold up well I will give an update. I bought Navy color, it’s super dark or I accidentally bought black lol, still love it.

Update: Now that the strong chemical smell is gone, I have been carrying it every day. The chain is awesome! I usually put it on my shoulder but when I'm walking any distance or on a brief shopping trip, I do it cross body. I love the soft, buttery feeling leather, it's going to be hard to go back to regular leather pocketbooks. First Review: I bought the navy lambskin last year (and love it), and when I saw they had a shoulder strap/chain I was glad since sometimes I need hands free when grocery shopping. I bought and received yesterday the black wristlet w/shoulder chain (2/2/21) and it has a very strong chemical smell. My husband can hardly smell anything but he asked what that smell was. The navy one smelled like leather which I love. The black one is just as luxuriously soft and awesome as the navy one. What changed? Will the smell go away and if so, how long? If it won't, I will sadly have to return. Please advise on the significant quality change between last year and this latest one? Does it have anything to do with the different colors? Is it a different process? I love the bag so want to know if the smell will be temporary or permanent. The leather smell would be great to have again...

I love this wristlet, I have the goat skin pink. It’s a perfect pink, not dark and not too girly. The quality and feel is amazing. Not thin or flimsy. Perfect size for me. I can carry all my essentials w/o using my big, heavier handbag. There are several colors to choose from and there are 2 more colors I want to get. There is a smooth skin version to choose from, but I prefer the goat skin, the leather is thick, durable and so soft. It’s elegantly packaged... ready to give as a gift.

My yellow one just arrived today, and I already have a blush pink and black one in my cart for next pay day.I've been using these for two years now, I'm on my second one but it was my fault because I let a red ink pen leak in my purse and it got damaged :( Oh I love these bags though, and for the PRICE!!! I hope they remain. niche because I dont want too many people getting on these and interfering with what we have, lol. Yes i'm selfish! How many times do we see great products become something entirely different once they become popular? A brand new D&J has the most amazing smell!! And they are so SUPPLE!! I love the pebbled, thats my personal preference. Also i am NOT easy on purses, and these babies hold up so well. plan to buy every single D&J so I can have plenty to rotate, as well as some extras for the future. I was NOT paid for this review and I am not connected with the manufacturer in any way (are you kidding me, I WISH I was, then I'd have unlimited access to these bags and I'd brag about it lol). For those who like elegant simplicity, minimalism, and value for your dollar - get one! Or two!!

It really is as soft as everyone says. Comes wrapped in soft cloth in a box good for storage as I won't use it often. I used it at a wedding and it held my small camera, S8 phone, lipstick, id, etc with plenty of room. Good purchase.

As other reviews have noted, this leather is very soft. Other reviews rated the item poorly because it ripped. However, maybe because the company added another layer of lining for extra reinforcement since then (as noted in the images), I've not had any complications with mine and I have a decent amount of stuff in there. It's holding up very well. The leather is SO soft (like I was a little scared to break it at first, lol). But I'm quite pleased, and want to order it in more colors in the future!!

I don't know about the durability for me because it is SO SOFT! The "Welcome/Thank you" note was really sweet, though written by someone who doesn’t know English as a first language, they did quite well. It really is lovely and the note was a very nice touch! I highly recommend this item. In the states, this item could retail for hundreds!

The bag is a nice shape but it smells very strongly and it does not smell nice like leather should
