Otsuka Green Tea CoPremium Quality Sencha Loose Leaf Tea 100g (Premium Sencha)

Finally an authentic tea! When I traveled to Asia I fell in love with green tea. Ever since I have been hunting to find that original taste, smoothness and flavor. Now I found it! And it is such a great price too. I highly recommend it to green tea lovers.

I love sencha from Japan. I guiltily get the sencha teabags from the Japanese market in town. Those are actually really good, but this is the real deal. It was so much more fresh than any sencha I've tried; even though it said to use it in about two months from when I received it.If you don't like this tea, then chances are you don't like real green tea.The color is a mixture of lime and pea green once brewed. The scent is very floral like fresh green tea (or green tea toilet paper if you've tried that). It smells wonderful. I really like the flavor. If you steep less than recommended it is very mild. The leaves are a bit thinner and a tiny bit mushy when hot so make sure your strainer has small netting. Remove it as soon as you feel it is strong enough for you. Steeping too long will give you a bitter flavor as will squeezing the tea from the strainer, so I suggest not doing that.I suggest adding a hint of honey, just a hint and it's perfect!The price is on the high side, but it looks like some brands do charge the same amount for premium Sencha. It really depends on how much you love tea. It is really good quality.

This is the real deal. This is real green tea and it has that wonderful taste and fresh floral grassy fragrance. The color is a beautiful spring green in my tea cup and they suggest do not brew it for a long time because then it will become bitter tasting. This tea is from Japan, it is fresh and absolutely wonderful
