I was beyond happy with the 12 lb mix. I am very new to lapidary as a hobby and I now have so much to work and learn with. I recieved at least 25 different types of rocks, a couple of beautiful agates and even a smoky quartz. I will definitely be purchasing more products from this company.

soooo pretty. I got a rock tumbler for christmas so I ordered some rocks, some to tumble and some to keep. when they first come in, they’ll be a little dusty and dirty (they are rocks of course) and if you want to see some color I suggest soaking them in water for a day or so. obviously I edited that photo a little but the original did not do it justice! i am so excited to see how some of these turn out once I tumble them. I am going to order some more soon.

The stones arrived today. Very pretty mix of stones, we found all but two of the listed stones -- missing tiger jasper (I think) and black volcano.We will be tumbling a selection of the stones and I plan to add to this review when we are done.We spent the day identifying the stones -- search Google images for each stone. We have sorted by Mohs hardness, which you need to do if you are going to tumble, so you DON'T tumble the soft stones like the lapis lazuli with the hard quartz and jasper.

To me the India mix is almost the same as ordering the Asia mix. I've ordered both and there's very little variation between the two. As with the Asia mix, the India mix has too much red jasper filler rocks. The lapis is very nice, and I ended up with one of my favorite little rocks; a piece of dendritic jasper (the light yellow rock in the middle) from this mix.
