I love the fact that these have good noise cancellation, fits comfortably, picks up voices while cutting out background noises such as wind very clearly, and sounds clear when I'm speaking into the microphone. For someone who does a lot of shooting and needs to hear what's going on around them, with need for using communications, and who are on a budget (such as small police departments, volunteer officers, etc.) then these will definitely do the job quite well. They may not be the much more expensive sets, and therefore lack some of the additional features, but for a budget (and if you don't need additional features) then these are a great alternative.

Amazon needs a zero star option for products like this. They work as noise canceling but the electronic function that allows you to hear ambient noise doesn’t work. When hook to a radio for communication they don’t work at all. I tired with two different push to talk and two different types of radio, they just don’t work. So they only work as a 5 dollar noise canceling headset. Do not buy total wast of money.

This piece of equipment is inherently defective. I asked for a refund and sent a return to Airsoft Gi's Walnut California address and never heard back. I know Amazon has a policy of charging you 20.00 dollars when you initiate a dispute with your bank otherwise I would have awhile ago. The item shuts off as soon as it gets the slightest bump, and the HEARING protection portion of it is so strong you can't hear a thing, therefore making it completely useless. It looks cool which is why I gave it 2 stars, but it functions solely as a prop for something like a cool looking photo shoot. Super disappointed.

I will start off with: These are NOT Peltor or Sordin quality, so dont expect it.HOWEVER, for the price I can't find anything comparable. They protect hearing fairly well against muzzle blast. The ability to use these with real PTTs is nice. I used them while flying on CV-22's and they worked well with the PTT cables in the bird.I was also able to use my Peltor ARC adapters to mount these on my Opscore helmet with no issue.In short, for the features you get this is a price you can't beat. I recommend.
