Clean Water and No Hassle for Half a Year
I recently purchased the Brita Elite Water Filter Replacement for my pitcher, and it's been a game-changer. The standout feature is its impressive 6-month lifespan, which means fewer replacements and more convenience. Installation was straightforward, and I've noticed a significant improvement in water taste. Knowing it reduces 99% of lead gives me peace of mind about water quality. Overall, a cost-effective and reliable choice for clean drinking water.

Makes the water taste better than a standard brita filter
These filter last 6 months and make the water taste better. I would rather have to change these less frequently and get better tasting water than having to change them more frequently and have worse tasting water as is the case with the standard filters. I am using these now because they are a better value than paying $60 to whirlpool every six months or an oem filter for the fridge. I would recommend. They are a good value.

Worth it
I'm glad I went back to the actual Brita filters like this one as I previously purchased the Amazon version and the water was flowing through way too fast which made me question whether or not it was actually working. These are 6 month filters and you can instantly tell that it was truly filtering the water as it was clearer than the previous filter and the quality is better. The water actually tasted cleaner and went down smoother.

When you live with bad tasting tap water
This worked great. It improved the taste of my City water here in San Diego California we have very hard water. And it has always tasted horrible. So happy with these new filters they work great.

They Don't Last Long
My water tastes great so I'm pleased but both of mine clogged after about 5 weeks, far short of the 6 months they advertise. Maybe that means the water here in Miami Beach is bad. Given their lifespan, these filters are very expensive.

Improves the taste of my water
I seem to enjoy the taste of my water with the blue filter than the previous white Britta filter that came in the box.Speed is a bit slower, so I usually refill once a day before I need it.While there are cheaper filters available, I want to filter as many impurities out of my water as possible. In short, you get what your pay for.

Thought it didn’t fit
I almost returned it, bc it didn’t fit my dispenser. Seemed too small. Then, I tried again and just kept rotating it slightly with each attempt. Eventually, it fit perfectly into the slot. I use the large brita dispenser.

Great Quality, Affordable, +Tips
This true Brita Elite water filter is my favorite no fuss water filter for quality+cost. I made the mistake only once to order a copycat (non-Brita) "elite" filter, which fell short re: taste+endurance.• I have hard water + older pipes where I live, so the Brita Elite quality makes a big difference for me. Similar to discovering I need to use water with ¼ vinegar to monthly clean my calcified tea kettles, I discovered (from the Brita site actually) that I can also safely pour the same ratio solution through the Brita filter monthly to clean+freshen it so to maintain taste quality up to at least 4-5 mos. – Note: it is only due to my extra hard water +old pipes that I don't get the full 6 month filter durability. It's still worth it for me, especially the 2 for $30 deal here.• I use the space saver slim Brita pitcher that fits easily on my counter. The filter fits snug, not causing unfiltered leaks around edges as some reviewers mention. – It makes sense to make sure to use a newer model Brita pitcher for these newer Elite filters.• As for a reviewer mentioning measuring PPM ("parts per million") per TDS ("total dissolved solids") water testing before+after filtering, I suggest looking up "freshwatersystems" (dot com) for a super helpful info guideline regarding. – ie according to the "freshwatersystems" explanation, the specific 40 PPM measurement that the NYC reviewer mentioned measuring did not necessarily sound alarming. – It's not just about the PPM number though of course, ie it makes sense that it would depend on exactly what either mineral or chemical "dissolved solids" were involved. – FYI on that "mineral or chemical" note, at least in the US, I believe each city or town has to legally report their regular water testing results every few years, which you can either find online, or ask your local water dept.• Hope this helps, and here's to our happy hydration health!
