Niv, the Telos Bible, Leathersoft, Charcoal, Comfort Print: A Student's Guide Through Scripture

This is a Bible that can be used to help understand Scripture - I included photos of some parts.The design is formatted with space in the margins (so you can write notes or do something there) , everything is explained/summarized before the book begins. This includes a dictionary, Bible studying tips and methods, maps, and also asks questions that are very familiar about faith, love, and other topics then supports the answers with Scripture.The outside design of the cover is soft and seems durable. You can lay it flat, as the box says.This is my first kind of Bible like this and the approach is inviting instead of like way too hard to understand, the graphics as well as breakdown of the story help to visualize the story; I hope to share this with friends and family so they can also discover that the word of God is not just a collection of stories but that there’s more available in having a relationship with God and reading His word and getting to know what he says, who He is and that asking questions is totally okay - you’re invited to spend time with Him when you open it.

A good looking, modern bible that will make a nice gift or that I might end up using myself.

This is a beautiful study Bible. It has 2 attached ribbons to mark where you're reading. Has alot of room to write notes, and has added commentary that inspires food for thought. Cover is very soft and its very comfortable to hold. Binding is well done and paper is a good weight. This would make a very nice gift for someone who is avidly studying the Bible, or going to Bible college, or just wants to know more about God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Print is said to be "comfort print". For younger eyes that would be more accurate, however it is a smaller print, vs larger print options available sometimes. Good price point for the quality workmanship. Priceless for the content it carries. I highly recommend this item for a study tool, or gift.

The Telos Bible (NIV) from Zondervan is a great Bible for a high school or college student who is searching or just growing in their faith. As a visual learner, I also really like the infograpics in this Bible and think they would be great for a lot of people. There are questions/journaling prompts throughout the Bible and great Book introductions. I like the print is nice and dark and it is an 8 point type.The cover is leathersoft, an imitation leather and their are two satin ribbon markers. This is a black letter edition so there are no red letter words of Christ in this Bible for those who like that aspect. I like the two-color design and I LOVE that there is space to write in the margins.As a whole, this is a nice Bible that would be great to use at home or to take to a study group of other young people.I received a copy of this Bible from the publisher through the Amazon Vine Program. This is a New International Version translation of the Bible; NIV translation, in my opinion, keeps the beauty of the Bible yet is still not as difficult to read as other translations.The thought and study questions are geared for teens, so that they can learn more about God. The margins are also wide-set so that the owner can write his/her own remarks.If you're looking for a good gift for a "seeking God" teen, this may be the one!
