We combined this game with Catan Seafarers… and, on my! This is a hit! My family plays it every day and they don’t want to play anything else! My boys are 9 and 7, and technically are two young for this game, but we play it gently with them (adult don’t use the Robert and most of the politics cards against them) - and they love the game. They read the rules tons of time and know all the nuances. I would never thought they could be so fascinated with it. It has been about five months of pretty much daily playing so far… love the game!

Bought it as part of a wedding present for a couple that loves CATAN. It was one of several CATAN items on their registry. I understand CATAN was part of their family game nights growing up, so they wanted to keep the tradition going in their own home.Arrived on time and in great condition.

We LOVE Cities and Night, and we use this one for a player expansion. We just painted the pieces different colors and use it to expand the game to be up to 6 players. Works grear!

I love this game, if you already have the original game and are experienced with Catan. THIS IS AN EXPANSION. with that said, this is by far my favorite one. Comes with cool new pieces.

I learned CK online. Having met a few Catan players locally, I gave the hardcopy a shot. It's about 45 minutes longer IRL but it's still super fun. Like all Catan, etiquette is super important--knowing who is truly in the lead vs not; limiting your trades to the person in last place; etc. Would be 5 stars if the knights weren't so difficult to read. I would recommend buy a few sets of different dice. You'll need red and yellow if you want to mirror the game. If you find your dice favor one or two numbers all too frequently, simply switch to another pair. Great game. Perhaps the best.
