Our granddaughter got her ears pierced on her birthday and received a lot of earrings as gifts. This box really excited her. Now she has a nice place to store her jewelry. The box is attractively designed without being kitschy. It’s large for just her earrings, but her collection of jewelry will grow over time. Now if she can just keep her older sister out of it.

Flowers on top of lid are very attractive. I havent pulled it completely out of the box, did open and look at it. It's packed really well, looks sturdy. Will make a very nice gift!

I gave this jewelry box to my 10 year old and she absolutely loves it. When it arrived in the mail it was nicely packaged with care so that it wouldn't break in transit. The purplish color inside along with the floral carved wooden makes this a very feminine jewelry box that she can use for several years. Highly recommend!

While the box itself looked very nice, I was disappointed to find mildew in the velvet lining of the drawer, despite the desiccant sack they put in it. Thankfully I ordered it well in advance of my daughter's birthday and checked it immediately, so I have time to exchange it or get a different one. Will update my review after I try to resolve the problem!UPDATE: The day I received the mildewed jewelry box, I was provided the return label to return the faulty box and our replacement arrived swiftly, within 2 days. I was relieved to see the replacement box had NO mildew in the velvet lining. I think the quality of both boxes seemed decent, (not fantastic, but definitely not bad at all) and it is pretty. I'm glad for the swift replacement, and hope our daughter is delighted with it on her fourth birthday! I'm sure she will be as it's very nice looking, and what young child doesn't like a special box to put their "treasures" in (trinkets and other childish and odds and ends). This seems like a very suitable jewelry box for a child. Pretty enough that she may keep if for years, but not so expensive that I'd be mad if it breaks. For an adult, I'd get something more solid, made of real wood.

I bought this jewelry box for a 18 month old little girl. I wanted a box that a child would want to use, but one that wasn't to kiddy looking that a teenager or young lady wouldn't want to keep using as she grew up. This jewelry box fit the bill perfectly.
