Good for a lifetime of daily use!
We bought our first Corelle Vitrelle Winter Frost dishware about 30 years ago and have been pleased that this minimalist pattern has always been readily available when I needed to add to my collection. As grandchildren became more numerous we've had to expand our collection. 30 years later the new pieces are still identical to the originals. As they say, if it works, don't fix it. It is also easy to match with other manufacturer's white ware if you need an item Corelle doesn't make such as a lazy Susan for veggie trays and dip and other oddities. My wife and I have been through numerous sets of glass drinkware because we can be quite clumsy however we've never had to replace a single Corelle dish due to wear or breakage. Tough as nails and the oldest dishes still look as new as recent purchases.

Corelle high quality made
I’ve always been a steadfast Corelle fan, and I routinely stock up on them as backups. Over the years, I’ve experimented with various glass plate brands and purchased numerous Corelle plates and bowls. Yet, none match the durability of the classic white ones. Other glass options tend to be much heavier and far more challenging to clean.I’ve also acquired several printed and colored Corelle pieces. I’ve noticed that some of the printed items feel bulkier—they’re thicker, less robust, and occasionally even crack in the microwave. Their resistance to breakage simply can’t compare to that of the traditional round white pieces, which offer the longest service life and are notably hard to damage.Although I do buy a few printed and square items for variety, the bulk of my everyday tableware is the round white Corelle. In over ten years of use, aside from the rare accidental drop, I’ve hardly ever seen them fail under normal circumstances. Even though they are designed to withstand minor bumps, they will eventually shatter if they fall on the floor. When that happens, they don’t split neatly in half; instead, they break into many tiny fragments, so it’s important to thoroughly clean up all the pieces. These dishes are exceptionally lightweight, stack neatly, and save a tremendous amount of space in my cupboards—far superior to most other brands. Additionally, the Corelle lids are simple to use, provide an effective seal, and are built to last. Occasionally, the lids may get stained, especially when they come into contact with fruit pigments that are hard to remove, but this doesn’t interfere with their functionality. The dishes themselves clean effortlessly in the dishwasher, drying quickly and emerging completely spotless, though it’s best to pre-treat any stubborn stains before washing.I wholeheartedly recommend this brand of tableware. They are thin and light, optimize space, stack efficiently, and have a smooth surface that’s easy to clean—all while being impact-resistant and durable. They outshine other similar glass products, and compared to ceramic or porcelain—which are heavier and more cumbersome to maintain—Corelle is a clear winner. I strongly endorse these round white dishes for everyone.

good for microwave ramen
We already had the more shallow and wide Corelle salad bowls, but we needed soup bowls that can microwave ramen for lunch or quick snacks. These bowls are perfect. Although the dried ramen doesn't quite fit (square dried noodles don't quite it in the round bowl), once in the microwave, the soup heats up and softens the noodles and they slide down into the bowl after the 4 minute mark. After another 1 or 2 minutes, the ramen is ready.

SMALL bowls, but good quality.
These are SMALL but DEEP soup bowls you’d serve with dinner as a side, for example. Or they are perfect for cereal. I mistakened these for large pho size bowls and was contemplating returning them. However, I did end up keeping them and will use them for cereal. They are good quality; thin, lightweight and easy to clean.

Great bargain for the price
Great product only complaint was the color, I was trying to match a set of tan bowls and these are white but they are Corning Ware quality, look good and work just fine. Have use them for over 20 years and never had a complaint but don't drop them on a tile floor if your not wearing shoes.

our favorite
I bought these when my husband complained that our current cereal bowls weren't deep enough, and we haven't been disappointed. They quickly became a favorite in our household for soups, salads, cereal, etc, and I even purchased the matching lids in order to use them for storage. I also bought a set for a family member who had them on their wedding registry and let them know that we use these bowls every day. No issues.

Durable
These bowls (and a set of Corelle plates and bowls in the same style I previously bought) have been great. One of these gets dropped on a hardwood floor once every three months or so and they’ve never broken, cracked, or chipped. Still like new. They look really nice in a simple, non-ostentatious way.
