My hair is VERY densely kinked/curled and unless I pay an exorbitant amount to get it professionally done, I never can get it THIS straight.This device IS.THE.TRUTH....period. I can't say enough good things about it. It heats up lightning fast for sure.. take note i had it set on 410 and raised it to 450 and the back of the brush got hot to the touch so make sure not to set on like a wood surface or something.Other than that? If I could give this product 10 stars I would. Took me about 50 min to straighten my hair after I dried and sectioned it.I also used the Tymu smoothing oil before I used the brush.

I purchased this electric straightening brush and an electric hot comb at the same time. I use the hot comb for my edges and the brush on the rest of my hair. I am African American and my hair can get kinky if my hair sweats and then dries after soaking in a hot bath. lol Given my hair texture, I honestly didn't think the brush would work for my hair. However, this brush is amazing. It did work! The things I like about this brush: it saves me time--it doesn't take long to go through all of my hair; it doesn't pull my hair; it heats up quickly; the long cord, and when running it through my hair, my hair doesn't end up in the brush like a regular hair brush. Honestly, a regular hair brush pulls and breaks my hair. After the first few times of using it, I kept waiting for my hair to get stuck in the teeth of the brush until I realized, it doesn't. While 99% of my hair does NOT end up in the brush, there are a few little hairs and minor grease residue that get stuck in the bottom of the brush and end up smoking a little in the brush--not enough to set off the fire alarm. lol I plan to purchase a small straw cleaner and/or baby toothbrush to clean in between and around the bristles. I am really glad I purchased this brush. It does exactly what it is intended. My only wish is that it could get my edges too but that's not the brushes fault. Highly recommend the brush to everyone, especially my African American folks.P.S. My daughter has 4b hair (curly) and also likes the brush. She straightens her hair first with her blowout brush and then uses the straightening brush afterwards to help her hair lay down.

It works pretty good but if you have thick hair probably try something else

I'm so happy I hot this, it is perfect, I cut my hair short and I mean short to my ears and I have curly hair. I was able to straighten my hair and brush it to my scalp and not get burned. Less than 10 mins and was done. And my hair did not get damaged.

I am not sure if we love this. I think it does the job but maybe not for our hair type. We have wavy, curly hair but i dont know if its the “bristle” design we dont like and makes it harder to use it or if its our hair or the weather here in Puerto Rico.

I’ve owned over a dozen different styles of hot tools/ straighteners. I have to say, this has been the best one yet. The bristles don’t pull at my hair so it’s literally like I’m just running a regular brush through my hair. Lots of options for heat settings and you can hold the brush part without it burning your hands and the heat doesn’t burn your scalp. I love that this doesn’t give my hair that clamped, flattened look that a regular flat iron can leave sometimes. I can blow dry my hair and then just brush my hair with this a few times and it takes my natural wave out. Much less heat time overall!

This project is extremely nice. Works great on my hair. I have natural, frizzy curls. This product doesn't damage hair and it's super easy to use and fast. I use to dread straightening my hair now I enjoy doing it.
