Been using this for safer resin
Eye and breathing protectionI seriously advise using a respirator mask. It's meant to be non toxic but I got headache for 2 days and go hoarse for couple days the 3 times I used it. so i bought proper respirator chemical mask and googles. So it does affect your body, the vapours. Don't use the room your heating and drying your poured molds in. Don't have pets in that room or kids either while making and drying your poured molds. Your molds be drying 24 hrs plus in steady heated room.So learning curve using this. You must heat up the room your doing your resin in and keep it heated to 20c. The bottles of resin and harder also in there warming and once you pour you need to keep the room heated or your items in molds will go cloudy.i wasted a lot of my resin first bo 5 tiles I bought because room wasn't kept warm enough all my poured resin went cloudy ruining the items I made. This is fresh bottles I just bought. Followed the above and everything dried nice and clear in the molds. 24 hrs plus steady heat left on in the room resins drying in. 20c heat. 8 use an electric heater with thermostat control. Once done all your resin done and hardened. Mine 5akes about 3 days until fully hard. air the room out with fresh air for a while before you, kids, pets use the room.

Great resin, low fume, no yellow, and no bubbles (if you mix carefully!)
This is the only resin I use - and that’s after trying multiple other brands over the last 10-15 years. I am mostly casting petri (per Josie Lewis’ technique) but also I use this for jewellery, coating paintings, glossing matte pieces and much more. For those reviewing low because of bubbles, this is due to technique, not the resin itself. You can see all of the pieces I’ve made on my insta - ironflowerink- basically I don’t have any issues with bubbles except when I push the limit of the cure window, and use the resin beyond the 45 minutes advised in the instructions. To avoid microbubbles, I suggest mixing really slowly and carefully, (introduces less air in the first place), pouring into molds from a height in a slow, thin stream (helps any bubbles burst on the way down), pouring in 0.5cm layers and then using an embossing tool / heat gun to raise any bubbles to the surface. You can then pour another layer and use the heat gun again, with the same method.I love this stuff. Very low fume, reliable casts, good detail, my only niggle is that thinner pieces are not 100% solid, so making things like rings are an issue as even post-cure, body heat can warm the piece and make it a bit bendy. But that’s perhaps a good thing as then the resin ring is less prone to shattering.

Why I buy art resin
Why I buy art resin, this is the only brand that is totally light fast, will never yellow. Its VOC free so you don't need lots of safety equipment also food safe. This is not a casting resin if you want to make paper weights or jewelry that is thicker than 3mm choose a different product little windows is the best but hard to get in the UK. I paint with resin this has a good working time 40-60 mins and is self leveling. Casting resin is lower viscosity so it's better for imbedding and casting in moulds art resin is not made for this purpose. Art resin is the best product to coat art work and doaming if you are getting too many bubbles stir slower and warm the resin containers in warm water before mixing. The only downside is the price I would like to be able to save more by buying lareger amounts I buy the 2 gallon set for this reason but I would like a bigger bulk option that takes the price down a little further.

Great to use
Used for geode art acts lovely as it’s not too runny like a lot of other resins. Does smell a bit though.
