I ride a motorbike and so wanted something underneath to keep me warm, as an extra layer they definitely helped but I would have preferred something perhaps double-lined or slightly warmer tog rating. On the bike the wind did get through and I found after 40 mins that I was still pretty much frozen. They doubled my riding time but didn't keep me as warm as I would have liked. Finally the open fly is a nice feature when going to the bathroom but it would be nice if it had a button or two like boxers do. If I'm going to keep wrapped up it would be nice if it was everything staying warm and not just the legs.

I bought these for winter fishing. The first time I wore them the temperature was somewhere around 6-7c and at that temperature I felt just about comfortable though at any lower temperature my legs would have definitely felt cold. Despite their very low priced these pants would certainly not be my first choice of clothing for more severe conditions. Maybe I was expecting too much, I suppose you get what you pay for.Comment UpdateI've just bought a pair from a company called British Thermals listed as Extra Warm. They look and appear to be the same material, thickness and density same size and colour, total price with postage £11.95, £4.30 more than on AmazonNeither not as warm as I wanted.Maybe there's a moral here.

Comfortable but holes around the seams around the backside. Wouldn't recommend.

Never had these before but taking up a outdoor pursuit has necessitated. How did I go so long without these?? They are great. I am 6ft tall, 11st 4lbs with a 28-30" waist and the small fit nicely. Not too baggy and not too snug. They feel great and yes the legs feel nice and warm. Recommended.

A little on the short side but are really warm, i bought these for use in a student flat with very poor heating, they saw me through the winter period when it was particularly cold. I intend to take them camping as i belived they would be very fit for purpose.

Maybe I just have a big rear but I do find me pulling them up a bit, now and then. They never feel like they are coming off but they do ride a bit low from time to time. That said, the keep you warm and will repel any unwanted sexual advances. They have a lot going for them!
