Adapter for Fujfilm XT-1
Bought to utilise my old pk lenses from Vivitar and Ricoh on a Fuji XT-1. Very pleased with the results and ease of use

Slightly better than similar models
I bought this after having already bought another EF-FX adapter which is actually the same unit but sold under a different branding, Beschoi. (This is not unusual; all these generic adapters from China and Korea get sold under multiple different names, just as some cheap lenses also do.) Strangely the one sold by Beschoi, despite looking absolutely identical in every way and measuring the same, fit perfectly on older cameras and extension tubes but was unusually tight on a newer camera. Since I was not the only user to encounter that problem and nobody was reporting the same issue with this K&F-branded version, I decided to take a chance and order this as well.Despite indeed being identical in every single way that I can tell with digital calipers, this K&F one isn't tight on the newer body like the Beschoi one is, while also feeling just as solid on the older bodies and extension tubes. It does indeed seem that Beschoi got a batch which was a tiny fraction of a millimeter different in some imperceptible way and K&F got a faultless batch. This is something I have only experienced with this specific EF-FX model; I have other adapters, ones branded both by Beschoi and K&F, and none of them are any better than others. As far as I can tell the Beschoi and K&F products are exactly the same except for the EF-FX adapters where some tiny, tiny variation has messed up the Beschoi ones on the Fujifilm X-H1 and X-T3 bodies.Other than that, this is the same adapter sold under other names and it doesn't appear to be made of any different materials, no text is any better applied, the lens release switch feels identical, etc. That is to say that it feels like a <£20, basic adapter. This one just happens to fit on one camera body slightly smoother than an other-wise identical one.To that end, I'd advise that for all other mount variations you should shop around and try to get one of the versions with different branding as the K&F branding is more expensive for the same product, but for the EF-FD specifically, the K&F-branded ones are the ones that definitely fit right.

Works fantastically on the xt-3
Fantastic piece of kit enabling you to use your Nikon g lenses on your fujifilm. You need to go into your fujifilm settings and set it to take photos without a lens, then it will work fine.Aperture is set to the lenses smallest and the aperture ring will only change it by 5 stops. So if you have a F4 lens you will not be able to goto F16 for example. It does have a bit of weight to it but it is of excellent build quality. I have used it with a 50mm Nikon lens and a 70-200mm Nikon lens and there is no movement whatsoever when it’s all connected up. It is a superb fit.Focus peaking works fine when using the adaptor and focus is spot on.( see photos which were taken in a dimly lit room)Sharpness is retained throughout. With the Fuji being an APS-C and my lenses made for full frame there is a crop of 1.5 making my 50mm a 75mm on the fujifilm and when using the 70-200mm it gives me a focal length of 105 - 300mm due to the crop with no loss of quality. If you have Nikon glass and a fujifilm x camera this is definitely a win-win for you and saving you money. Yes it cannot auto focus, but this is a small price to pay, manual focusing with peaking is far more fun anyway.I definitely 100% recommend this adaptor.

Entirely functional and good value
I've had a very nice Pentax 50mm 1.4 SMC in K Mount that I used to use back in the day when I shot Canon. I kept meaning to get an adaptor because it's been described as one of the best 50mm lenses ever made, but it's been sat in its box for 10+ years. Too lazy. Anyway, finally got my finger out and bought this adaptor. Fits well, shoots well. It's a manual focus set up of course, but easy enough to deal with. See the first shot I took at 1.4. Renders nicely. Nothing special as a picture maybe, but gives an indication of quality of this combo. You need to set the menu as allow shoot without a lens, or nothing happens when you press the shutter.

I can only surmise that the reviewers who wax lyrical about the item's good build-quality mostly use their cameras as ornamental dust collectors on their shelf, as this product took all of about 7 separate uses before it decided to shuffle off this mortal coil. The adapter relies on 3 pot-metal hexscrews to hold the threaded silver piece that your lens screws into in it's place. These tiny screws are all that prevent this piece from falling clean out of the housing, or rotating, and in no way actually screw into the piece to firmly secure it in-place. Instead, they are simply tightened down so that the flat ends of the screws exert pressure on the thread ring from 3 different angles, essentially pinching it in place. After only a handful of outings these screws, unsurprisingly, failed; my lens almost hit the floor, and now I am left with threaded section of the device firmly stuck to the screw-thread of my 58mm lens.I had purchased this product because this is the *exact same* failure that my previous unbranded alternative, which cost *half the price*, suffered. K&F are clearly aware that this is an issue across their entire range of adapters, as in their more expensive "premium" iteration of an M42-FX adapter they use 4 rather than 3 screws.A caption explaining the attached image: on the left hand side is my 58mm lens, with the silver threaded piece still firmly stuck to it as a result of the screws failing. In the middle is the plastic spacer to stop the metal threaded component from interacting with the metal body that it is *supposed* to still be inside; the now hollow metal body is to the right of it.
