nuclear waste? ) I sprayed it onto the pipes and ...
I have a motorcycle with a stainless steel exposed exhaust system, and the pipes were yellowed and spotted from where the dealer should have removed a protective coating that was on the pipes when it was shipped, but they didn't remove it, which resulted in the discolored pipes. I had tried a wheel polishing/cleaner that did nothing, and I'd read about this stuff and how it removed the stains. It's not cheap but I thought I'd give it a try. After taking the necessary precautions (what's in this stuff, nuclear waste?) I sprayed it onto the pipes and the discoloration immediately came off. Instantly. No rubbing, no nothing, it just "melted" off. I did have a few spots left on the pipes but with a little wheel polish they came off, too. The OptiGlanz must have chemically "loosened" the spots because before, nothing would take them off.

Great Product. Highly Recommended.
This stuff is amazing. I used it to remove the bronzing from my motorcycle down pipes and could literally see the brown disappear upon contact. My pipes had some spotting that was not removed completely with this spray but were less noticeable once the pipes were returned to their original shiny chrome appearance. No scrubbing was needed. I just protected the rest of my bike in the area of the pipes with plastic bags, sprayed, left it on for a few minutes, then rinsed well with water. Not much is needed for the desired effect. I have plenty left over for future treatments when it becomes necessary. It's a little expensive but when you consider how easy it is to use, how effective it is, and how many times you'll be able to use it, it is certainly worth the investment.

Did a great job cleaning the pipes on my bike
Did a great job cleaning the pipes on my bike. Excellent for cleaning stainless. If there is a difficult spot use a Scotchbrite pad, does great. Polish after cleaning. Check warning - don't get on paint or skin.

tarnished look to a beautiful chrome look
Used this on 2 sets of factory motorcycle headers (4 cylinders). Sprayed small amount on a terry cloth, wiped on 1 pipe at a time, leaving on for about 2 minutes then rinsed thoroughly with warm water before doing next pipe. That's all it took to get them from a bronze, tarnished look to a beautiful chrome look. One bike was new, the other 12 years old - effort and results the same for both. Still have half a bottle left!

It really does work even on badly discolored stainless pipes. Just takes a little scrubbing with a kitchen non-metallic scrub pad and a couple applications.

excellent
This stuff cleaned the corroded brown header pipes on my fireblade like magic.I'd been polishing away for ages with autosol and got nowhere. When I sprayed this on, I could see the pipes change to shiny silver almost instantly. It's expensive but it works well. One word of warning, this stuff smells strongly like almonds which makes me wonder if it's got cyanide in it. And it makes corroded metal go shiny almost instantly... it's obviously very very powerful stuff and I would use this in a well ventilated place, and consider gloves and eye protection.
