This is a very good cooling laptop tray for the price. It's currently 28 degrees where I live and my laptop was struggling. Now I can keep the laptop from overheating.

I eagerly anticipated this cooling pad’s arrival after reading numerous reviews claiming it was whisper-quiet or even silent at its lowest speed setting. Unfortunately, I was bitterly disappointed when I turned it on.The center fan is significantly smaller than the other four, yet paradoxically, it is the loudest of them all. It produces a persistent, scratching-like noise that I can only describe as irritating. There’s no visible obstruction causing the sound, and since this is a brand-new unit straight out of the box, I don’t believe it’s a defect—just poor design. This is further supported by another reviewer who also described the same sound.For my purposes—audio recording in a studio—this cooling pad is completely inadequate. The only way to reduce the screeching sound is by increasing the speed of all the fans, which, in turn, raises the overall wind noise. Worse still, you cannot control the fans individually.The build quality feels light and flimsy. Even on its lowest setting, the stand is too high, making it uncomfortable for regular use with a laptop trackpad. The included phone holder is a nice idea in theory, but since it holds the phone at an almost vertical angle, it’s impractical and inefficient to use while in the stand.This additional but ultimately flawed feature could be overlooked if the cooling pad didn’t sound like a scratchy old record player in a wind tunnel!In short, I’d recommend looking elsewhere—finding a better alternative won’t be difficult compared to this!
