This is a pro-level light and instantly felt much more solid and beefy than my regular light, even the power cable screams professional with its thick rubber chunkiness, power wise it packs 300w of very accurate cri 97 in both CCT and RGB, indoors or not in bright midday sun this can be a key light easily and makes for a great fill or accent light even in the brightest midday sun. loads of power, plenty of built-in effects too.Control-wise it can be fully controlled via the button and dials on the rear and the LDC screen looks great with nice easy UI, best of all is the GVM app, hands down one of the best lighting apps I've used, it has all the usually setting effects grouping etc but it's just better as it's a very responsive app and the light also responds to app commands instantly.This is hands down the best wired video light I've tested, brilliant bit of kit.

This was the first gvm light that bought and I like the ecosistem so bought another 2 more from the older Line, the 600d and the 300 two head light (this one stopped working one Day) but other than that, the 300b pro has been one of my most used light. I own two godox 300 (VL and SL) and the GVM 300b pro is my favorite with the 600d.

Video professionals have long debated whether lighting or the camera make the picture. I say both, and in this light you can't go wrong in having plenty of it. My first impression of this product was how heavy it was. It comes in a very night, well padded case with cable, bowens mount cone and power supply. Also included are some velcro straps to keep your rather long power cable in check. The light puts out an ENOURMOUS amount of light - as a key light it only need operate at 30% or less. For large productions where you want a nigh even light on a scene or want to create the effect of sunlight coming through a window, this can do the trick. The light comes with several effects, which may be more of a gimmick than a useful tool, but they are there if you need them. I always get bi-color lights, as they tend to be more versatile in varying lighting conditions, but never have I owned one as powerful as this one. It can simulate a sunset or high noon lighting and with a rather crude app you can control some of the features from your phone. The mechanics are silent and the light is of sufficient quality - although I have not checked it against my light meter for accuracy, the light seems to put out a good quality of light. For the price, it is a great entry level light, without having to sacrifice quality over time. This light will be a main light for me going forward. Due to how heavy it is, i would recommend using this with a C-Stand and some sand bags, especially if you use this on a set with a softbox.

The white balace is changing with the light output. I think it's a great device, but not perfect. Heavy and well made.

Never liked GVM but this one was a home run! Just buy it. It’s bright and awesome.

This company has brought their product production to a whole new level. I have run sets with Arri, Aputure, Nanlite, etc, and these new pro series from GVM - holds it together with them. I highly recommend their pro line it's fantastic.
