Very nice case. Just fades over time.

I ordered the JUESHITUO for Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra Case even though the actual smartphone won’t be delivered for a couple of weeks. I wanted to make sure that I have a sturdy and solid case to protect my investment on Day One.The case is made of Thermoplastic Polyurethane which is a plastic known for its sturdiness and resistance to oil, grease, and scratches. It’s not a heavy material so I am slightly concerned about whether it will be tough enough to protect it from drops. The specs state that the “honeycombing structure” will cushion any drops. Time will tell, I guess.The color is a light grey. The manufacturer says it is “translucent” which, I assume, means that light passes through it, but it is not totally transparent (i.e. clear). If you want to see the exact color of your new phone shining through, this is not your case.This case has a magnetic area in the center of the case, but I have been unable to test whether it is very strong.The lens area on the back is raised and looks nice – looks like it will provide good protection from most scratches. Three of the lenses have labels above them (e.g. zoom, 45mm) even though I’m not sure if they accurately describe the lens (the Samsung info page describes 4 lenses – ultra wide, wide, 5x, and 3x lenses).This case is just one piece. In the past I’ve had two-piece cases and I suspect that two piece cases are more solid and protective than this one piece. However, I will try this case for a while to determine whether it gives the solid protection I need for such an expensive piece of electronics as the new S24 Ultra. I took off one Star only because I have some fears that it is too lightweight to cushion a hard fall. However, I will continue to evaluate the case and will update this Review as needed.
