I have used my device now for a couple of days, here my experience. To start the pump, it took a real effort to make it work. I had to empty the liquid soap again and try with water. Finally, it started to work. The recognition of the hand and fingers movement under the sensor is with my device with very little effect. I really must insist. I must move quite long my fingers, to get the movement hopefully detected and the pump work. The output is about peanut size if ever. The + or – is of no effect.I have not send my device back as it works, however not good. Sending it back would be again a lot of a mess to empty the liquid soap. I did it once at the beginning, not again.My advice for a potential buyer, try it first out with plain water when the device arrives. My first impressions was that i loved the slim line smart design of the automatic soap dispenser. At first i was a little confused, As it took awhile for me to figure out that the batteries go in opposite directions to get it working. Once i got it up and running, i was able to adjust the settings to increase or decrease the amount of soap that came out of the front funnel. I must say that it feels ever so good to not have to touch things with dirty hands to clean it. its always been a big bear of mine, But this great little device means i can wash my hands straight away after using the bathroom, And no germs!
