This is a beautiful piece that to me is large and has a wonderful color with high definition in the relief expression of the deity Green Tara. I use the work “expression” because I don’t know if this has been carved or it is cast when this material is made. The online ad says this is Cubic Zircon which must mean it is a man-made semi-precious gemstone. What I do know is that it is beautiful and the image of Green Tara that is a deity that helps Guan Yin, is finely detailed, accurate, and pleasing to the eye. The stone is larger than an old 50 cent piece. It is several mm thick. The image of Green Tara rises above the stone surface. I show that front and back sides. The metal lining is plated brass. It looks very nice and feels nice. Because it is not precious gold, I don’t need to worry about it being stolen or lost. The beads in the necklace feel like crystals. The necklace is well made. I’m so very happy to have this. If you are not sure why it is a blessing to wear an image of Green Tara you can find many explanatory videos online. The price is really nice for a piece of “costume jewelry” or for a spiritual icon of this size and weight.

Depicted on this jade colored necklace is the goddess of compassion. I ordered it to place on my cars rear view mirror as a reminder to remain calm and compassionate. The necklace itself feels almost like it's made of glass and the pendant has some nice weight to it. It's truly a beautiful necklace. I can't wait to see what it looks like when it catches the light from the sun!
