I use this bag as my freshwater kit, since I'm often hiking a fair bit to get to where I'm fishing from and having to carry everything in a box got old really fast in those scenarios. This bag combined with a shoulder-slung rod carrier makes it so both hands are free in case I want to bring anything else along like a cooler and/or beverage.It's pretty compact, but you can stuff a surprising amount of gear inside. I've got mine filled with six 3600-size tackle boxes, two spools of leader, tons of soft plastics (seriously - like 12-16 bags of them) and a host of other tools (lip grip, pliers, hook remover, bait knife, clippers, etc.), all pretty well-organized and easy to get at.Construction is solid and I like that they didn't go overboard with compartmentalization. You've got one big main storage area for your tackle boxes, a large flat sleeve with dual access above that, then a smaller compartment perfect for soft plastic packages and a small pocket that's perf for for things like your fishing license and the like. Materials are tough and will shrug off minor splashes and the straps and soft back pad make it all-day comfortable, even when you've stuffed it all the way full.KastKing keeps delivering solid gear at great prices and I especially like that they didn't just repurpose one of the myriad 'tactical' bags that are all the same regardless of vendor.

This tackle box is very sturdy and well made. It much easier when going to banks or through wooded areas than carrying a traditional tackle box. The pole holder is a life saver and the extra cases are a great bonus. Have recommended these to multiple friends already and will continue to do so.

Could have yielded more room to fit 2 more trays. They will fit if needed but then you have to empty other section out. That’s only reason for the 4star rating.

So I bought another brand of fishing backpack to go a little cheaper . Bad idea ! This bag is worth every penny . It’s durable and easily accessible while fishing . I was able to switch lures and switch rods . Great addition to this bag is the ROD holder in the side . I do recommend you get a better way to secure the rod to the bag while walking . It’s an easy fix . I use a carabiner .

I needed something that could store a good amount of tackle and that I could carry around with me while doing bank fishing without having to drop it somewhere each time I wanted to make a few casts. This backpack is perfect for that because it has plenty of storage space for anything that you need for a quick bank fishing trip and it being a backpack lets you just throw it on your back and it’s out of the way until you need it. And there’s a lot of places to keep tools as well so once you catch a fish you can quickly grab a pair of pliers or if you need to retie, your scissors can be handy as well. Not only is it a great fishing backpack but it can double as a normal backpack as well so it’s a great 2 in 1 bag that can do anything that you need it to.
