I was hesitant to pull the trigger on an expensive blanket considering I couldn’t feel and touch in person. But after receiving and using it’s very luxurious and medium weight. I was actually looking for a sibling of this blanket from Sferra that I used on a recent trip to the Big Island Hawaii which was very weighty and comfortable. This blanket is different from that one but still amazing.

This is a luxurious blanket that is nice year-round here in the south. It is not a woven blanket that loses its shape. I love it and have purchased two of them. It’s pricey but very worth it.

Prior to purchasing I read some of the reviews that were questioning authenticity. I own a few of these, so I'm very familiar with them. I made the purchase and compared it to other Sferra blankets I purchased in the past and they appear to be authentic in my opinion. They are the same blankets, but only one of the 3 have the Sferra label, and it's the other white one I purchased. Other than that, they are exactly the same, including the border. The other blanket I bought, a blue one is the same, but it doesn't have the tag, or the herringbone border. I know it's authentic because I purchased from a high-end department store where it is very unlikely they would carry counterfeit merchandise. They are also made at the same place. One thing I noticed was the model names of the blankets and I think that is the difference. The white blanket with the Sferra label (purchased from the same high-end retailer) said it was Sferra St Moritz model and 100% long staple Egyptian cotton. The blue one said Sferra Chalet model - 100% long staple cotton. It doesn't say Egyptian anywhere. Maybe that is the difference. The more expensive model is Egyptian cotton, and the others are still long staple cotton, but it's sourced from another country. Either way, it's a nice blanket and looks and feels exactly the same so I'm keeping it.I also noticed complaints about shrinkage. They are 100% cotton blankets and are going to shrink. That is why they are oversized to allow for shrinkage. The Queen size, before washing is large enough for a king size bed. The same thing happened with all of my Sferra blankets, regardless of where I purchased them from, and they still fit my queen size bed well. If you want it oversized then buy a king size for your queen size bed.I also wanted to mention some things I learned about care. The washing instructions say 'Do not use fabric softener ' and you really shouldn't. It will cause your blanket to pill. So will drying on high heat. If you want extra scent just use a scent booster. I also wash in cold and drape them across a couple of garment racks to dry them most of the way and then put them in the dryer in either low, or no heat just to get the wrinkles out and fluff them up. They come out beautifully and are worth the extra care. They are really soft so you really don't need fabric softener anyway.

This product is advertised as Sefera - but it is not. No Sefera label on product. This seems to be a bait & switch. Would appreciate explanation from vendor, and amazon to check this out.

Love this blanket. Light of weight, but keeps me warm. Like that it was made in Portugal.

Perfect in every way (though there are comments about shrinkage when put in a dryer, something I've not yet had to do). Very soft and a great weight, fully covering a large King bed. Don't look for a Sferra tag, though. There's none to be found. My guess is that this is Sferra's St. Regis model but without the tag. Who knows that that's about? But result is a very great bargain for this blanket!

We had one already , but wanted another for our home. Very comfortable and warm.

I purchased this wonderful blanket for our guest bedroom. The blanket is soft, comfortable and a high quality product.
