Very Nice Upgrade
The over grip is well made and fits my Gen 5 Glock 26 perfectly. The grip makes it easier to grip the pistol (I am a man with average size hands) and it helps a lot to absorb recoil. The over grip makes the pistol more comfortable to shoot and more comfortable against your body in a holster. It fits snugly on the original Glock polymer grip. To install the over grip, I warmed it up in hot water and also wetted the pistol grip with hot water. The hot water allowed just enough stretch to slowly slip on the over grip. I would highly recommend this product. The recoil absorption would probably be even more beneficial for a Glock 27 with the snappier .40 caliber.

Difficult to install (with boiling water and “shoe horn” like directions) BUT WORTH THE HASSLE!
I have installed hogue before on an LCP. That was EZ PZ. The install on a double-stack Glock is not so easy. The think looks half the size. But it will fit and the finished locked-on grip is great! I bought two. One for a 26 and on for a matching 27 in FDE. Read the directions. A friend suggested talcum power. I don’t know… but the boiling water, and gloves to prevent burns, helped soften the grip enough after many tries to just squeeze it wide and over.

prefect
This is a perfect fit on my Canik mete mc9. This is the glock 26&27 fit, but they might as well add this to this list. You'd think it was made for my firearm. If you follow the directions, it's tough, but not bad, had it done in about 20 minutes start to finish. used a hair dryer to soften it, boiling it was a suggestion, but then i thought it would be a slippery mess. IF you do what they say it's not bad. world of difference on the feel and tighter grip you can get. Once it cools down it's not going to move, so make shure you jiggle it into the position you want it in before that. Very happy.

Love it
Helps it grip in your holster or pants better. 👊🏼

The Installation, Of Course
Almost gave up at the 20 minute mark, but made it at the 35 minute mark. Tough install! The glass cleaner loses its slipperiness very quickly. The suggested plastic shoe horn was useless for me. Used my Swiss Army knife to shave down the end of a chop stick to a flat that I could use to lever the front of the grip onto the stock. Pushing it on from the outside was impossible past a certain point. Outside pressure does not help it slide. I used the screw driver/bottle opening on my knife to insert between the rubber grip and the stock and lever it a little bit at a time and that worked. Not sure it is thick enough to help with recoil, but improved grippiness should help. I think I like the increased fatness.

Great fit!
The grip is great, it really enhances your grip on the gun which is obviously very important. It’s a good quality grip. Just follow the instructions to install it on your gun and be patient.

Outstanding upgrade for G27
I was skeptical at first, but reading and researching I decided to put the grip on my G27 Gen 4. Very glad that I did! Excellent fit, grip, and ergonomics. Did what I needed for the medium back strap I use. No impact to holstering. Very happy. Do not get frustrated with put it on, there are several great video’s showing how.

Just follow the directions, it is well worth it.
It took me three tries. I ripped the first two I ordered, even after boiling the grip in water and using windex. So, after trying to do it my way I finally decided to follow the directions. You will need rapid boiling water, windex and a rag. 1st rapid boil the Hogue grip in water for a long time (10-15) minutes the longer the better while you are waiting for this cut out the plastic glide rails/slides as told in directions (This is the step I was not doing in my two failures). 2nd Pour boiling water in a coffee mug and place Hogue grip inside coffee mug let is sit in the hot water while you. 3rd spray your gun's grip with lots of windex. 4th Next remove Hogue grip from hot water carefully and spray the inside of the Hogue grip with windex and place the cut out plastic glide rails/slides as told in directions inside Hogue grip. 5th follow the directions and start with the beaver tail end on your gun’s grip making sure sliders stay in place (they can move a bit but as long they are between your gun’s grip and the Hogue grip you should be good). Now stretch the other end of the Hogue grip using the cut out plastic glide rail/slide on the front end over the front end of your gun’s grip (this may take several tries you may even need to dip it in the hot water while holding on to the beaver tail end). Once you cleared your gun’s grip use the rag to twist and pull up the Hogue grip until it has cleared the magazine well and align as needed while using the rag. It may seem like a lot, but it is well worth it.
