I have a wide open grass field in the country where I can hit as many golf balls 100-150 yards as I want. Since I got this, I hit about 5x as many balls as I used to. As a beginning golfer and someone who is starting to get more and more AARP junk mail, this thing is awesome. As noted in other reviews, it's not the "military grade" shag bag so you'll want to be just a little gentle with it. But after shagging maybe 1000 balls, it feels like it's better than new--like it's just getting broken in and picking up balls with less effort. This should last a while for what I use it for.

This was my first, and so far only, ball pickup tool. For the price of a bit over $20 it is a very handy tool and seems to be quite sturdy. I haven't used it on the practice greens but for backyard chipping practice, or full swings with practice balls, this thing is great. It obviously picks up real golf balls without any trouble, since that's what it was designed for, but it handles the hollow plastic practice balls very well and can pick up the whiffle ball type practice balls too, although they can get a bit smashed since they are softer plastic. It worked out so well for me that I bought one for my dad too. This shag bag will save you time and your back, since you wont be bending over to pick up every ball you hit.

I haven't owned this bag for very long, but so far, I'm very happy with it. For the cost, it seems like a solid value. The design of the bag seems good as it easily picks balls up. It appears to be built well enough but we will see after much more use.

Got this for my teenage son who is playing golf with his school. Very happy with the combination of reasonable price and good quality. The aluminum construction is very solid with good attachment points where the handle meets the tube. It picks up balls easily and does what it's supposed to do. The bag is fairly sturdy and should hold up under use if you use some degree of care with it. Overall very happy with it and would buy it again.

Bought this for my 93 year old Dad who has trouble bending over. He loves it!

Have only tried this but it worked well trying it out on regular and practice foam balls. It seems pretty sturdy and is a handy gadget for playing around in the yard or garage. Seems it will be a great gadget and the bag seemed solid enough tool. think i love itUpdate; it works really well and is easy to use. love it and the price was reasonable

This is a great accessory for any golfer that practice their chipping or pitching .

Haven't been using it too long, but I can't imagine this not being worth what I spent. It's already saved me a ton of bending over to pick up golf balls I've chipped in my back yard, and my back thanks you.

I am not sure why I didnt buy this years ago. Fill it with balls, hit them, go pick them up without bending over. What an awesome idea!!! I have this on my golf cart and use it almost daily.
