Simply too small for an adult head.
I cannot recommend these eye patches for any normal adult.Even when the elastic is let out to the maximum length, they are simply too tight on the head. Even my children thought they were too tight.After two or three minutes wearing the eye patch you need to take it off as it hurts. It also pulls the eye patch into the eye which is really bad if you need protection for the eye.

Very effective!!
I have an ongoing eye condition that makes eyes very sensitive to light. This blocked all light and allowed the eye to rest. Not yet tried washing them
