Great solution for a small backyard rock wall waterfall. Lifts water at least 3 feet in ⅜ inch tubing.

Oxygenator air pumps are much more efficient than these fountains because they are pumping air, not water. I had to see them operating side by side to realize this. Furthermore the one I got has batteries and will run 24 hours a day in bright sun. This sncoto solar fountain pump does not have a flotation platform so can only be used in small aquariums, not in my pond. Using this pump for a fountain I bought here on Amazon. Although, like many solar pumps, it more or less stops working when the panel gets shaded, it works well enough. I like that the solar panel looks more or less finished as opposed to one of my other solar pumps’ panels that looks like an unfinished DIY job. The panel is also small and subtle so that it can be hidden behind a medium perennial or small bush. It’s a nice little pump; good value for the money.

Only have had it a couple weeks but it is working great so far. Thinking about getting a small battery so it runs at night too. Made a small waterfall for my fish pond.

This little pump is REALLY small. I thought I was going to use it in my turtle pond, but ended up using it in a bird bath. If there's any shadow over the solar panel, it will not work (which I knew before I bought it). It comes with different ends to change the fountain pattern.

I am using this pump in my 5 tier solar fountain and it is working well. It pumps more water than the pump it replaced. My birds are very happy!

We received it. Put it in the fountain. It worked for 1/2 hour and then nothing. It was still sunny outside.

Stopped working after one day. Returned.
