Our almost 3 year old grandson loves it and figured out how to turn the light on and off quickly. The batteries make it a bit heavy but having the light is the great part. The only problem we have it with the inner adjusting band inside the helmet is hard to stay in with it is at the smaller setting but that doesn’t matter a bit to our little guy!

I'm an adult and I was in a play recently at our local senior center. Part of the play was related to the coal mining history in our area. The construction helmet was perfect! After the last play, I gave the helmet to a young boy, that just loved it, especially the fact it had a real light!

Large helmet. Not really for young kids. The light is heavy and makes the hat topple over in front of kids face. My child is 3 and it was way too big. Also- the light has a button on the back and it hits the helmet so it goes on and off just because of where the on off button is on the light.

Worked for what we needed it to. Not indestructible - as our 5 & 6 year old proved quickly by taking out the inner headliner. Other than that, great piece. Kids love it for make believe

The helmet looks great but the light and batteries on top made it heavy so the helmet kept tipping forward and falls off. The plastic piece inside the helmet is hard and hurt the wearer. There are no straps to keep the helmet from falling off.

This toy construction hat is really fun for kids. The adjustable head band inside the hat makes it very adaptable and comfortable for a variety of ages from toddler to adult. The light on the front makes it an immediate favorite for kids. My two year old grandson is the 4th generation in a family of contractors so the family got a kick out of the hard hat!

My 6 year old loves it as a part of his Diggy’s Adventure costume for playing around the house. Great price too, we saw another one that was double the price. Couldn’t be happier.
