Extra Conditioning
I use this to boost my Wen Cleansing Conditioner that I leave in my hair after washing. It works wonderfully. I do not use the products they way they are recommended.I have 3C curly coily hair, the Wen works best if I just leave it in my hair.I rinse it completely out perhaps 2 - 3 times per week, moisturize with about a TBSP of virgin coconut oil. After moisturizing with the coconut oil, I mix 5 pumps of the Mango/Coconut Cleansing Conditioner and 3 pumps of the Six Thirteen Ultra Nourishing Cleansing Treatment and work it into my hair gently. I detangle with a Denham brush, which I never have to run from the roots, it is just the ends that get tangles, especially those pesky "fairy" knots. I then style and I am ready to go. In-between rinses, on my second, third, sometimes 4th hair days, first thing in the morning I spray my hair with water that has has a little lavender oil in it, rub in a 1/2 teaspoon of coconut oil and a few pumps of the Cleansing Conditioner and Six-Thirteen mixture. My hair looks great and this has simplified the process for me tremendously.I would never have purchased the Wen for myself, my mother purchased it for my birthday back in June. At first I was not impressed, I used it the way it was directed, which may work for some, but not for me, it took forever for my hair to dry. I was going to just use it up and then go back to my other 4 products. Well, after time and experimentation, I found a system that does work for me, my shedding has reduced tremendously (you did not want to see the shower after I detangled), my manageability is great and I barely have to use the diffuser in the morning (although I probably will when it gets cold). I was skeptical, but I must say that I am happy with the Wen products and will stick with them. I will just purchase them through Amazon, I am not getting sucked into that whole mail order thing.

Stop my thinning hair in its tracks!!!!
I have a graveyard of shampoo's and conditioners for my over processed, very dry hair sitting on the floor of my shower. No lie, they are everywhere and I am surprised I can fit in there with them! I am 57 years old and have rapidly thinning hair for about a year now which made it so that I just didn't want to shampoo and condition anymore because I couldn't bear seeing the CLUMPS of hair going down the drain. So I invested a ton of money of dry shampoo's to get me by. But no longer!!! I swear to you on a stack of bibles that I have not seen one clump come out of my hair. Oh yeah I see the usual stray hairs like everyone else see's but NO MORE CLUMPS!!! I even dyed my hair the other day which normally produces a bunch of dead hair in my shower but not now! I was amazed. I have gotten rid of the graveyard and only use WEN. Seriously, this is amazing stuff. My hair is shiny clean with no build up of the product even if I shower each day. I am truly amazed. I do not work for the company nor do I have stock in it. I am an everyday consumer who has finally found something for her hair that works miracles and that she will never be without. I know it is expensive but when you find something that works this well you don't even think about the price. I mean for me it was a no brainer: wear a wig or buy this product. No contest.(oh and pssst....if you want a good recommendation for skin care use Elemis. Bought some on a cruise and am now a devoted user. Yeah it is expensive but it is worth every penny :-)

Wen is the best thing I've ever found for my curly, frizzy hair
I have very curly, frizzy hair that I've been fighting with all of my life. I've tried everything from keratine treatments to straightening solutions. Neither of those treatments last and they leave my hair damaged. Wen is the best thing I've ever found and I must admit that I am extremely happy with my hair since I started using Wen.I get into the shower and wet my hair. Then I put the Wen Cleansing Conditioner all over my head and rub it into my scalp and through my hair. I leave it on my hair while I finish my shower. Then, I rub it all through my hair again and scrub my scalp with it. I rinse thoroughly and if my hair needs more, I put more on, sometimes just where I feel like it still isn't clean. After I get out of the shower, I towel dry my hair. Then, I rub one pump of Wen's Six Thirteen through my hair and I blow it dry. My hair is silky smooth, with no frizz. I color my hair and Wen does not strip the color out of my hair either.Friends and family members have told me they only use Wen every other time they shampoo their hair, but they don't have frizzy, curly hair. People with thin, straight hair tell me Wen doesn't work for them. They say it makes their hair look greasy. I think if you have hair like mine, you will love this stuff, just like I do. I will never use regular shampoo and conditioner again. I've finally found the best product for my hair.

If you're thinking of shaving your head, try this first
I had instant results with this shampoo. Got it 6 weeks ago, because late winter is *the worst* for my fine, thin, wavy hair, and I always have the urge to go full Sinead that time of year. It becomes a god-forsaken mix of dull, limp, and flyaway. Think Jeff Daniels in Dumb and Dumber. It ain't pretty.I don't style my hair. Just scrunch and go. With this shampoo, it actually has nice, more-defined waves with decent body and better shine. As a plus, I've had waaaaay less hair loss since using it (which is the opposite of others' experience judging from previous reviews, so YMMV). For the past several years, every time I shampooed, I found myself being forced to ponder the eventuality of wigs. I could've felted multiple dog sweaters or, like, a loveseat cover with all the hair that came out in the shower over those years. That stopped almost immediately after starting with Wen. Remarkable.I only wash my hair 2 or 3 times a week and have found that, once a week, I need to use a clarifying shampoo and conditioner (any sudsing shampoo, really) to get rid of this shampoo's build-up. Also, I use way less than the label recommends. (My hair is shoulder-length). Two pumps, then rinse, then another two pumps. Might be able to get away with less.Anyway, I'm psyched. And people have commented on the change.
