Welp...It's bright! Lol! Does the job though. But I might have to find a way to make it softer. It's just a little too harsh.

I bought this like a couple of days ago and it worked fine until I went to go charge it. I tried to charge it and it broke! I inserted the charger and it immediately stopped working. I will be returning this.

I bought this selfie ring light well over a month ago. I had also bought a battery operated one from Elf. I would use both, though I preferred the Elf one. (The lighting is better imo.) So, I used this selfie ring light until it needed to be charged. Instead of charging it immediately, I just used the Elf one. (Looking back, I should’ve done it!) Fast forward to one month later, I decided to charge it. As soon as I inserted the charger, it broke! I believe it has some sort of charging port defect. I read another review where the customer also experienced the same thing. I wish I would’ve known before because I can’t return it now. It’ll be going straight to the bin.

This is indeed very bright. If you’re looking for flattering lighting, this will not be the one for you. For myself, I needed something that would adequately light my face during work meetings since my task light source is behind me. In other words, it works great as a practical solution, but would not be good for aesthetic purposes. I can confirm it fits nicely over a laptop and I have had no issues with the battery dying in the middle of a meeting.

The selfie ring light is amazing! I try it on and when I take selfie, it lights up a lot. It create very good lightening for my selfie and I absolutely love it! Definitely worth to buy and easier to clip on my phone.

OMG I was not expecting this little selfie ring light to be this good. I purchased one from a makeup brand a few months back and it isn't half as bright as this one and cost over double! But the game changer for me is this one is rechargeable and comes with the charging cord for such a good price! The other brand I was spending a fortune on batteries and would go through them like crazy and it wouldn't be as bright (which was a pain).However this one has 3 brightness options and it charges. I'm so much more happier! I wish I would have gotten this one to begin with 5 stars!
