Back brace
Was very nice when I bought it. A bit of a pest to unknot before applying. Lasted a a couple years then started to get stretched out. Comfortable when wearing. Not good for under clothes. Definatly helped my tense back.

As seen on TV. Not sure about the benefits of this device. Should of returned but didn't. Kind of neutral.

Great value and works very well
This brace is a great value and works pretty well. I make sure to wear it once or twice a day for about 10-15 minutes, and after only a couple weeks I already feel a difference and am far more aware of my posture, which was the point of this purchase.I'm not sure if it's a defect in mine or the way they are manufactured, but there is absolutely no configuration in which it sits as flush/flat on my back as it does in the pictures: it's slightly twisted where the bands meet in the middle of the back, and thus it tends to stick out quite a bit, so if I wear it under a shirt or something light it will be pretty obvious, making me look like a slight hunchback. But since I wear it so little, it's not really a problem, just an annoyance that I think can be easily fixed by sewing the bands together the proper way.

NOT A GOOD BRACE -- GREAT FOR POSTURE CORRECTION EXERCISES
I suffer from a complex of myofascial pain syndrome and fibromyalgia which started from a back injury 7 years ago that was never treated properly from the beginning by workers comp doctors. After 7 years of dealing with this-- multiple rounds of pain management options including injections, acupuncture, massage, manipulations, different types of therapy and anything else they come up with - I have started looking into more non medicinal ways I can help myself because I am desperate and not much else has really helped. I ordered this because I have a lot of problems with my now atrophied muscles causing me to have poor posture. Originally after putting this on-- I felt like- yes it does help cue me to hold a better posture. It is not comfortable to wear for any length of time. I have found though that this item is great to use when doing exercises to attempt to strengthen my muscles in hopes of helping my posture. This is not something, of course, that is going to happen overnight. My posture brace came with a sheet with some specific exercises on it to do which are actually very beneficial. I have given this 3 stars because as a "brace" it is very poor. You would not be able to wear it easily for long periods of time and if you don't pay attention-- you will go back to your poor posture while wearing it. It is merely there to cue you to stand up straighter. As an exercise piece- this is very helpful.

Great for posture reminder; buy AT LEAST one size up!
I am using this as a reminder to my posture, and so far it has been working great for over a day. I work in an office setting and it sits between my dress shirt and my white tee. The way I see it is that this won't fix your posture directly by its force, but its presence will remind you when your posture is particularly bad and hopefully your body will learn over time. Previously I use a ShouldersBack, and it works too but I wanted something with less fabric. (ShouldersBack has a Lite model, but the price is too high in my opinion.)The reason that prompted me to write this review, however, is that I regret buying the recommended size: my chest size is 40, and according to the chart it should be large (40 - 43) and notice I am already on the lower boundary. Still, I feel too much pressure on the armpits in "position 1" and I frequently have to pull it a little bit to relieve the pressure. Position 1 is the one you see in the product photo where the band goes over your shoulders. The brace feels *considerably* more comfortable in "position 2", which is when the band crosses the upper arms only. I can actually keep the brace on in position 2 for a full twelve hours. The problem with position 2, however, is that it is not a stable configuration: the brace makes it difficult if not impossible to raise my arms since it essentially ties my upper arms together at the same vertical level. This by itself is not a problem for me since I am a programmer and I rarely need to raise my hands. However, the brace, even with moderate movement like walking, keeps slipping up and will convert itself into position 1 over the day. As a result I need to unbutton my shirt and pull it down several times a day. This is again not a problem for me, but I can see social situations where this can become a problem. If you are buying this, I recommend buying at least one size bigger. (If I were to buy it again today, I will definitely go with XL. I can only hope that the rubberband loosen over time... though it is now one week in and it does not seem to change at all.)

The version from two years ago is better
I ordered this posture brace in size X-Small two years ago, and it works very well in enforcing good posture. When worn in short bursts, it really is helpful. If I wear it for too long at once, however, it digs into my underarms and becomes uncomfortable. I thought I would try ordering a second brace in size Small to see if that would be more comfortable for me to wear. However, the elastic band in the brace that I just received is much harder than the elastic in the brace from two years ago. The edges of the elastic band in the new brace dig into my underarms even more uncomfortably than the old brace, and from the moment I put it on. Also, I ordered both braces in beige, but the new one is bright white. I will continue using the old brace in X-Small, and I would definitely recommend the brace from two years ago, but I cannot recommend the brace that I just received.

Wish it could have worked for me
I tried two different sizes (I'm 5'6, 105 lbs with an "Asian built" and the medium felt better for me even though I swear size XS for tops) and this product is not for me. I have TMJ issues along with mild scoliosis and wearing this device instantly triggered nerve pain down the arm and facial pain. I really wish the product could have worked for me cause I love the simple design but I think I need more upper back support rather than just having my shoulders pulled back. Maybe after I build some strength I can try this product again.

Mainly just a reminder to sit up straight.
With regards to the sizing, I measured myself to be 38" across my chest, which put me near the top of the medium size chart. I'm from the UK and I'm between a medium/large in t shirts in shops. Usually if the t shirt is a tighter fit, i will get a large, but normal fitting t-shirts i'm a medium. I hope that helps judging my size.I bought the medium and at first i found it to be quite tight under my arms to the point it was sending a little tingle down my arm, but after one day of wearing i actually wish i got a smaller size. On the first day whilst wearing it, it doesn't really 'pull' your shoulders back into a good posture, it merely restricts you from slouching forward. I tried wearing mine over a t-shirt, but it scrunches it up and doesn't feel great. I preferred having it directly on my skin. It does slightly dig in under my armpits which leaves slight redness, but not enough to hurt me whilst wearing. After a few days of wearing i've found that the brace has slightly stretched out and looks a bit tatty, but still does an ok job in reminding me to keep my shoulders back.If you need something to correct or fix a problem with your shoulder/posture, i wouldn't choose this, but if you want something to wear that will restrict you from slouching and remind you to sit up straight then great this is for you.P.s If you are at the start of your size in the chart, i would recommend going a size down. I really hope this helps!

well-made but uncomfortable
the product itself is durable and well-made then very simple. I found that I could not wear it for long periods of time because it irritated my armpits and was not comfortable to wear. however it does what it is described to do by being a constant in physical reminder to pay attention to your posture while wearing

Its good but doesnt last
It does pull back your shoulder quite a bit. I have tried other back braces and this one is the strongest and give the most pull however the elastic in it started twisting and it became not straight and not comfortable to wear.

Helpful brace for poor posture
Arrived quickly and is as seen in the photo. Sizing appears ok. Seems to help to pull my shoulders back and remind me to do this long term as I try to correct my poor posture. I wear it as suggested in the instructions but haven't done many of the exercises yet

Cumple expectativas
