Exceeded expectations..!
Exceeded expectations by a wide margin.Given the price, I wasn't overly optimistic but this is actually very good if what you're after is a reasonably accurate way of measuring. I would seriously doubt the claimed accuracy of 0.02mm but if a figure accurate to the nearest quarter or half a millimetre is good enough then this easily does the job. It's solidly made, nicely weighted and comes in a carry box that will suffice for most people's likely use. I like the fact that it doesn't require batteries and so is 'always ready' out of the box.The scales are clear but in quite a small font - so reading glasses at the ready! All in all - Recommended.

Rough around the edges, but seems to do a reasonable job.
Rough finish, but reasonable at the price and can be softened with some wet & dry. Not a pro-tool, but suitable for most diy. Seems to do a reasonable measurement. Don't be fooled by the 'thumb screw' - though the description does say it's not a screw. Depth gauge is handy.

Quick and easy to use for modelling
Love this tool. I bought a second one and may buy a third just so there's one in every tool box. You can just grab it and measure things so quickly and accurately enough for making 3d models to print. Probably not hyper accurate but I have a rarely used digital one if needed.

It is what it is at good price

Does the job for hobby use
I have two digital calipers which agree on the readings with this item to within 0.05mm. So it's not the 0.02mm accuracy it promises, but good enough for hobby use in the 3D printing context. The main advantage is these do not need batteries, and are more convenient to use.The jaws aren't perfectly aligned at the opening side, which is maybe why the accuracy is affected. Might not be good enough for machining work if you need very tight tolerances. But that's what a micrometer is for anyway.Overall reasonable value for money.

Very good tool
Very useful tool for accurate measuring of various things, well made tool and smooth slide for good accuracy, and the locking part is very good when measuring in difficult positions for reading it.

Nor perfect
The scale printing is very clear, but the movement was rough and sticky. I had to lightly rub the bottom edge of the main part to get it to run easily. I'm not sure this is accurate, the vernier scale doesn't seem to work for me.
