Works great with OneFinity CNC Machine
Wanted to replace the small touchscreen monitor that came with my OneFinity CNC machine. Purchased this monitor along with a Huanuo Single Monitor Mount (gas strut arm). This setup is awesome. Mounted it to the CNC table, but it can swing and move in a wide area. Much bigger than the monitor that came with the CNC, and touchscreen works great. My only observation is that the viewing angle is more limited than I expected. However since it is mounted on an arm (only cost $35) I can position the monitor so it's easy to see. Never have to worry about the monitor being knocked-off the table I've mounted the CNC to. Highly recommend.

Everything you want in a touchscreen.
This Asus 21.5" touchscreen does everything they say it does. It's exactly as described. I've been using it for about a week now, it is plug n play and intuitive to use. With windows 11 it makes your monitor into a big tablet. The screen is hard, clear and reflective so I put a matte screen protector on it. Here is a link to the matte screen protector I purchased. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BLN6H4KG?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title --- I mounted it on this "Articulating Gas Spring Arm" that works great without any adjustments. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07YWFPF39?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title --- This is a good monitor.

Small but capable, looks better after image tweaks
The display works out of the box with Windows 11. The image was a little fuzzy at first, but this was easily fixed by changing display settings - namely, maximizing the Sharpness. Additionally, the image quality is noticeably worse over VGA compared to HDMI, so use the latter if possible.Within Windows, the screen required no configuration - I was swiping around within apps and games without issue. I ended up using it at 150% scale to match the pixel size of my traditional desktop displays.I have the display mounted on a light-weight monitor arm - you'll be pleased to know that the "stud" for the monitor stand can be completely removed with a few screws for a clean, mounted appearance. When moving the monitor around with the arm, it's obvious the shell is a thinner variety with some flex, but the display is so light that you rarely meet enough resistance to flex the display during arm adjustment. For an IPS display, viewing angles are not amazing - if you were thinking of mounting this in a camper, expect to sit close together for everyone to see clearly. The colors and image response are otherwise sufficient for what it is.If there's anything I dislike about the display, it's a lack of speakers. Just something basic to hear system sounds.

Works great with Microsoft Flight Simulator
Four Ports:1 Video out: VGA2 Video out. HDMI Use either number 1 or number 2. Your choice.3 Touch out: USB. The screen has USB B port and the other end of cord USB A. No USB C ports. So it connects to USB A on your computer or laptop.4 Power in: AC mains.----------------------------------Included: Power cord 7 feet.USB B to USB A cord 6 feet.HDMI cord 6 feet.Resolution is 768p (which is HD). Full HD would be 1080p. 2K would be 1440p. 4K would be 2160p.(But this screen is 768p).Physical height standing on its stand (screen straight) 11-1.4 inches. (screen tilted): about 10-7/8 inchphysical width including bezel: 14-1/2"------------------Because the screen is smaller than a 27 or 32 inch screen, the resolution of 768p makes for a sharper image to my eyes than my 32" 1440p screen. (pixels per square inch determines sharpness, not total pixels on the screen).---------------------I use this with two 32" 1440p screens joined together with Nvidia Control Panel Surround into one giant double wide screen. This monitor is in addition to that. This monitor is not using surround like the other two monitors are.---------------------------------Amazon reviews on no name brands are hit and miss with lots of complaints about issues. A name brand monitor is the way to go. Asus is a good brand. The quality of this monitor is very good indeed! I use this every flight with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.

Factory Mode Roulette (dead after 5 months)
Stopped working after a few months. It entered factory mode (looping colors forever) or something and it stopped displaying an image. Some ASUS monitors can have this removed because it has a button for it, this one does not. If it enters factory mode, it’s dead, forever.

Very Good Monitor
As always Asus's products tend to be very good quality. Goes well with my computer tower. But I didn't know what the small toggle switch was at the back. It's kinda cheap feeling. I didn't seem to get an instruction book only the warranty . Anyway I figured it out after trial and error how to operate it. Really like the non-glare protector that comes over it. Makes a big difference. The only thing I wish was that it had good on/off switch and not just that toggle thing. Good quality monitor for the price tag. Would buy it again.
