Great substitute for oatmeal
Loved this. For those of us who can't have oatmeal, this a nice swap. Tastes great. Nice texture. Some tiger nut products have sharp edges and are tough to eat but these are great.

Great chewy taste and good for you gut
Tiger nuts are a resistant starch so they bypass the small intestines and ferment in the large intestine making good bacteria and less bad bacteria.

AIP this is food now
Got it here because I couldn't source it locally. These sliced tigernuts stand in (sorta) for oats. I've done some 'overnight n'oats' recipes, and made homemade granola so far. Tasty enough stuff. If the autoimmune protocol method doesn't reveal me to need to ultimately need to avoid actual oats (and/or other more inexpensive domestic grains), I won't likely keep ordering these after the next several months - but I'm glad they exist for now.

Great Nut Alternative!
Tiger nuts are a delicious powerhouse snack, and they’re not nuts at all! Enjoy them on their own or sprinkled over yoghurt at breakfast for a nutty crunch without allergy worries. Ideal for those who are gluten-sensitive or looking to boost their fibre intake, tiger nuts pack both nutrition and flavour into every bite.

Adds a nice crunch
I recommend these tigernuts to clients at work who have autoimmune issues or can't have nuts because of food sensitivities, so I wanted to give them a try. I love how crunchy they are, which makes them perfect for a salad or yogurt. They have a slight sweetness to them but it's not overpowering and they have less fat than nuts as well. I typically use a couple tablespoons in my salad. I'm a fan!!

Tasty but buy the peeled or sliced Tiger Nuts…the skin is chewy, tough & earthy
I’m so glad I tried these Tiger nuts! (Not actually nuts, but are roots). I bought a bag of sliced and peeled Tiger nuts per recommendation, and I’m glad I did. There is still a small amount of skin on the peeled nuts and it’s not easy to chew. The nuts taste sweet & ‘earthy’ as a result of the skin. It reminded me of eating coconut skin. The nut itself is delicious!! Seriously creamy and sweet. They recommend that you steep the nuts in hot water for 10 minutes to soften the outer skin)if there’s any on the nut) to make it easier to eat. I didn’t steep mine and I think they are yummy! I want to try the Tiger nut flour next..it’s supposed to be a better substitute that other nut flours because it’s more pliable.
