It’s a nice doorbell
It’s a nice doorbell. It has the same doorbell mechanism as all of the other doorbells. I just wish I could’ve hung it sideways, because it’s not wide enough to cover the old doorbell spot. I have to repaint that wall to cover the old doorbell spot I’ve had for a few months now and it still works great.

Very disappointed
The chimes did not work. This door chime was a lower price because of packaging issues but was described as functional and undamaged.The professional I hired to install it could not get the chimes to work. We were able to use the cover over the existing chimes.Very disappointed. I will be wary of the descriptions on discounted products in the future.

Not sure how to tackle this one.
It was kind of expensive and sat on my shelf until about a week ago. I hooked it up, worked fine then the next day there was nothing. I've installed numerous doorbells and I'm not sure I've had one like this do that. At any rate, one of the pistons came seized into the coil, the second coil seemed to work but it didn't offer a hard enough hit when the power was supplied to actually ring the chime. The outside box/cover is fairly nice so that's why I gave it a 3 but for functionality it should get a -3. I'm kind of thinking it was preused and not tested when sent back so this is what I get. It wasn't a cheap doorbell either. I doubt I'll get reimbursed by either the seller or Amazon, may as well not even try. There's no understanding at all here... I'm a business, things sit on a shelf until they sell. Should I take my new items out of the box and use them until someone wants to buy a used item with no warranty? Good plan...

Beautiful chime cabinet.
This chime cabinet is beautiful on the wall in a main room. The chime mechanism is the same as any other two note chime but the housing really makes it stand out from other doorbells that are cheaper. The cabinet is pretty heavy but it comes with anchors to properly mount it. I didn't use the anchors in the package, I used some heavier duty drywall anchors due to the cabinet's weight.The instructions are vague. They simply list a wiring diagram for several doorbell setups. There is no instruction as to the distance to drill holes or to place the mounting bracket. It took some careful planning to make sure that I didn't have to put it up twice.
