The media could not be loaded. Phenomenal tool for rolling out the spine and any musculatureThe 5”diameter at 8” length works fantastic for anterior segments, ribs as well as soothing and releasing muscles before or post workoutsSuper compactBut beefyDoes what it shouldFirm but enuf give (though this is always a personal thing)As a fitness pro and functional doc for most of my adult life this tool deserves the raving reviewI bought it with my own money and couldn’t be happier with it. This works so much better than a flat roller
It's unbelievable. Sitting at a desk all day and my spine and neck hurt.A couple minutes with this and yoir erector spinae is 90% better. The only downside is that it hurts like a mofo and can leave your bruised. But that's why it works so well.

Relief!
Oh my gosh! These really are giving me relief! I have fallen a few times over the last couple years and had cosmetic surgery last year which combined has caused tight facial tissue around my muscles in my entire body so I’m tight everywhere especially my traps and neck. I keep one that cradles my neck while I role the other spot by spot down my spine. It feel similar to my massage therapist myoflex and trigger point therapy which helps a lot between appointments. I highly recommend these. I’m making it a regular thing every night before bed.

Great for people with a tight back.
I have a tense back, which causes tightness up and down my spine. That tightness moves around and is difficult to reach and alleviate. I've been using a softball for years to help with the knots in my back up and down my spine. This works better than my old reliable softball and is easier to manipulate up and down my spine. I highly recommend this massage ball for anyone who has issues with tightness from their neck down.

Standing upright for the first time
Before I bought this, I only thought I was standing up and I had no idea I wasn’t, not really. I feel like the other reviewers didn’t give it enough credit, you can go all the way up to the middle of the back of your head and it feels amazing. It has the perfect balance of not being too soft or too hard (Goldilocks dream). I had no idea I needed my head massaged. It feels amazing on my neck, balls are the perfect distance apart. Went all the way down past my ribs with it. Stood up after using, feel like a human. This is a keeper. So glad I didn’t buy a smaller one.

Right size, right shape, too soft.
It’s the perfect size and shape but has too much give for me. I’m used to the Trigger Point “extra firm” models.

Life Altering!
I was a massage therapist for decades, still do Tuina therapy. One night, recently, the pattern of tension in my right upper back from years of one sided sports massage on pro runners flared so bad I could hardly deal. I worked it out as best I could, stretched, guasha'd what I could reach, foam rolled, etc but it nagged so unceasingly that I started searching Amazon for something to use when it's not feasible to get a massage, like a Thursday night at 10pm. This contraption has been more effective than any tool I've ever used. It quite hard and hurts to use at first. I like super deep pressure so that's not a problem for me but might be for others. I might recommend positioning yourself with the roller under your upper back and a pillow to lie your head on, clasp hands behind head like sit up position, knees bent for stability, then slowly lower yourself back. The pillow will decrease the intensity of the curvature in the spine that the roller creates so you can relax more and ease into it, staying this way until you feel completely relaxed into the roller, then remove the pillow. I have had virtually no tension in my upper back since the first time I used the roller and just purchased a 2nd one for a birthday gift. Can't say enough good things about it. The only issue I have is that I'm on the smaller side and I think a 6 or 7 inch roller would have sufficed.
