For several years we’ve been using a Velcro cable wrap hung on a wall to keep our Tesla home charger cable off the garage floor. It worked okay for awhile, but eventually the Velcro wore out and couldn’t hold it any more.This unit we installed on the wall in less than 10 minutes. I read some of the reviews that indicated sliding the front piece over the mount was really difficult. So I avoided that issue by rubbing some Johnson Paste Wax on the plastic grooves and they slid together easily.We’ve been using it now for a few weeks and are really happy with the purchase. It is a solid piece of plastic and has ample space to wrap the cord around it. Definitely recommended.

First, I like that this is a bigger hook and has room to hold several loops rather than having long loops that can get under foot. The hook is beefy and looks solid, the plug holder works fine (although I wonder why so many of these do not have the plug held vertically instead of sticking out where someone can accidently run into it). The plug holder has a little latch that prevents it from slipping out and its easy to use, you just lift the plug up and it comes right out. Now here is were we run into the 2 issues that ruined this for me. Issue #1: The mounting system is easy to use with a wall mount piece that you install and the main body that slides over it, that is all good. However, once you mount the holder onto the wall it locks into place and its very, very, very hard to separate the base from the wall mount (once it snaps into place). I tried this out before mounting and even tried to put some Teflon spray to see if that could make it easier, but no help. Now I will say, this is on securely but if I ever want to remove it from the wall that will be a problem as its one locked together piece after snapping together. Issue #2: The included screws are too short. This is clearly designed to be used with the drywall anchors (which are included), but why would anyone do that when they can screw it into a stud. Especially for something that will be used daily, it will pull out of the drywall in no time. The included screws are at least 1/4 inch too short and could even be a half inch longer. Now, no big deal unless you don't have all types of screws sitting around.8/25 - UpdateThe seller reached out to me immediately to discuss my feedback. I greatly appreciated their quick response and attention to my comments. They offered me a refund and let me know that the way the two pieces lock together is by design for stability (which I had mentioned above, it does). So I have increased my rating to 4 as my only issue appears to be a design decision and not a flaw, I can see that. It may not be to my preference and as long as it works for you, this should not be a problem. We have been using this everyday and it works great for us.

When I first installed my charger I just used a simple hook to coil the cable against the wall. This worked fine, but I liked the idea of being able to 'plug in' the charge connector rather than letting it dangle. As it turns out, it is much more convenient with a dedicated holder for the charge connector. While it doesn't seem like much of an inconvenience to grab the cable, then grab the connector with a second hand, or to simply find the connector that is hanging, it is much simpler to just grab the connector directly out of its holder. The holder does a good job of retaining the connector as well as releasing it when ready for use.I don't have a pretty finished garage, but if I did this organizer would look right at home. The finish is very nice, and the fact that it doesn't have any exposed fasteners is a nice touch.

Install was quick and the utility of the device is immense - it cleaned up an entire corner of the garage by allowing us to wrap the cable around the charger holder, with just enough cable unwound to allow for the charger to connect to the car. Easy and useful -

Easy installation. Works perfectly! Plenty of hardware supplied to get it installed properly. Nice looking product at an excellent price point.

The media could not be loaded. Handy for hanging the charging cord, but there’s nothing special about that. It won’t hold the Tesla charging adapter in the hanger like it’s supposed to, so I just have to leave it hanging. The holder slides on to a second piece that is screwed to the wall. The fit was so tight, I could not get it to fully seat without lightly lubricating with silicone first. I would not purchase it again.
