Connected to app fine, joined the wi-fi fine, but then went very badly when fully screwed into the wall. So, beware when fitting. I have an older style electric outlet box, so it has holes for the screws top bottom and sides. The screws for connecting the wires are NOT protected, which in my case meant when I screwed it fully into the wall box it shorted with the top lug.

Easy to install and connect to Google Home and Assistant - if you can cut a box out - I used a multi tool to do mine through breaseblock and plaster. The only worry with these devices to my mind is will the connect and stay connected. Well I'm pleased to say this connected instantly and has continued to do so. Heating schedule was easy to setup and after pausing it when away on holiday on the way back being able to turn the hot water on remotely is just the business. It looks neat on the wall too. BTW do the connecting first time without the faceplate on, you cannot see the flashing LEDs with it on.

Managed to work out that the wiring instructions are incorrect - Neutral to 1sr live and positive in to 2nd live switched out is 3rd live.Supplier needs to change instructions

I have 2 of these controlling 3kwh heating elements to supplement a solid fuel heating system when the fire is out and they have worked fine for the last 2 years. I have now added another to control the water immersion heater. These require only a 2.4ghz wifi network to be present when pairing for my BT router this requires logging in via the ip address and disable the 5ghz band whilst pairing only. Once pairing complete re-enable 5ghz band and they work fine. Please note this cannot be done via bt app but all routers tend to have a typical ip address so google to find how. I also wire a double pole switch in series to allow full isolation from power when needed.

Easy to install and connect to WiFi. Make sure that you disable 5GHz on router if dual band before pairing then enable after connected. Operates on app and Hey Google.

The device is easy to install but has not connections for earth wires and is single-pole not ideal for a water heater. the touch button works but flat out refuses to connect to the wifi correctly even after a number of hours working with it. I am an IT professional so know what I am doing.Please don't buy this and wastes your money.

I had it installed by a professional it did not take him long. Setting it up.was another matter, but my daughter who is used to setting up Alexa controlled items did so in a few minutes. All good and i reccomend it
