This was a good product, made a nice looking knife handle.
This is a very soft material. Be very careful when you sand it. You can remove a lot of material very fast. The color on the surface is very thin.

Great
Some people are complaining that it isnt flat. You have to understand this is natural material. When it was on the animal it was wet. Over time it will dry and warp. This isnt the fault of the seller, it is the reality of all natural real horn. To fix this get 2 flat pieces of metal, and clamp the scales between the flat metal as tight as you can with all metal C clamps. Preheat your oven to 275 degrees Fahrenheit, and put the clamped scales in the oven for an hour. Let cool still clamped, and this will straighten them out.

Ok product. Some warping
The buffalo horn scales had a very nice pattern. They were warped and would not lay flat. Grinding fixed the issue with a loss of approximately 1/8 inch plus of thickness. Still usable but better quality control would be nice.

No coloring at all
I know that colors will vary, however the set I got had almost NO gold or coloring. They are basically just black. Not happy with what I paid for these.
