Also useful for weight stack pegs
Needed to shorten two weight plate pegs and this did it in minutes. Amazingly easy despite the quite beefy thickness of the pegs.

Cut a couple of metal emt conduit like hot knife through butter. Maybe not but close enough.
This cut through a metal emt conduit like butter. All it needed was a few turns and it was done. The reamer wasn't great but it does the job I guess.

Insane value for the money
Normally I prefer Rigid, but got this cause of the extras and the roller bearings. The dual row roller bearings (3 per row for maximum alignment) make a huge difference over the old single non roller bearing type. The cutter is spring loaded, so you turn it fewer times than normal, making cuts quicker by a considerable margin. Plus the insert is meant to be placed into your toolbox for keeping them nice and sorted.

Works for steel, more or less.
Every mention of steel comes with some qualifier - it cuts "thin" steel and the deburing tool is for "soft steel. They don't say what counts as thin or soft but I bought it for EMT, and if that does't count I don't know what would. The good news is that the cutter cuts through the EMT just like it should. Full marks there. The bad news is the yellow rubber grip has no connection to the handle so it slips. I got a better grip on the tightening knob by pulling the yellow grip off. Also the deburring tool cannot handle EMT. It turns the clean sharp edge into a ragged sharp edge. All in all, not bad considering steel is a stretch and it did the central task well. The manufacturer should do something about the rubber grip.
