King of Shaves Alpha-Gel Shaving Gel, Sensitive Extra Cooling, 5 Ounce

I have been looking for a product like this for a long, long time. Let me say upfront that I hate shaving with a passion. If I could wave a magic wand to keep my facial hair from growing and not be able to reverse my decision, I would wave the wand without hesitation. But since that's just a pipe dream, I've been on a years-long unsuccessful search for products that give me at least a tolerable shaving experience. My bathroom shelf is crowded with them. Well, I'm happy to say that King of Shaves Alpha-Gel Shave Gel brings an end to my search. It has far exceeded my expectations! I've been using it for a week now and it's amazing. The cooling sensation is perfect. It's such a relief to be finished shaving my face (especially my neck) and not feel like I've been out in the sun all day. There is hardly any burning sensation--and the tiny bit there is goes away very fast! Give this product a try, gentlemen (and I suppose ladies could try it on their legs and see what happens). I'm definitely going to keep buying this, and will probably see what other sharing products King of Shaves has to offer.

I really love how this gel lathers! I had a really thick amount of facial hair the other day, & I am sure I used no more than a quarter size amount. I had to go over my thick facial hair several times, but that small amount sure did the job. I had to add water to my face and the gel would relather! Not one nick, and King of Shaves left my face smooth and moisturized. There is a mild, pleasant smell to the shaving gel, and my face has always been smoother with this gel than any other! Another plus: this gel is low foam, which means I could easily see my face and exactly where I was shaving at all times. King of Shaves is a bit more costly than most canned shaving creams & gels, but it is more than worth it. I have had no skin irritation at all! Highly recommended!! :D

I have tried many shaving foams, gels and creams but nothing works as well as this shave gel. I would get some in grown hairs before I switched to using this shave gel. It numbs your face when you apply it to your skin and you don't have to use very much of it (about the size of a quarter) I will shave my face in one direction, rewet my face and shave in a different direction for a real close shave without using anymore product. I have used this product with all different types of razors 4 blades, 2 blades etc. and don't end up with shaving cuts. I will never go back to cans of shaving cream again. This is the best product for those of us who need to shave everyday.

I bought this product since I saw it on a youtube razor review. I've found it to be the 2nd best way to wet shave. To me, Shave Secret (http://amzn.to/1KGH8zC) is the King with King of Shaves gel just below. The only reason it gets 2nd place it because even though it shaves almost as good in every way, I still get cuts with the King of Shaves where I don't with Save Secret. The only plus King of Shaves has over SaveSecret is the razor rinses off easier. I find you have to really work to rinse the razor when using Save Secret.

The product that was pictured detailed Super Cooling Shave Gel with Aloe & Tea Tree. The product that I received did not have Aloe & Tea Tree. KOS shave gel is an excellent product, but I wanted the kind with Aloe & Tea Tree.

I've tried many different types of King of Shaves gel, and must say this one has been my favorite. It has a nice cooling feel after your shave. I've tried many different types of shaving gels, foams, soaps, and will say this has been my favorite for getting a smooth shave. I reminds me of the aloe strip on a new Gillette razor, and how it help it glide over your skin. Of course it wears off by the second shave, but this comes close to replicating that feel in my opinion.

I have been using this shave gel for years, but it seems to be getting more difficult to locate. I purchased my first tube in a Target store years ago, but since that first purchase, I've had to buy it online. I've found it is the best shaving gel. It softens and lubricates the beard very well but does not gum up the blade. Also, one tube lasts me for a very long time, typically over a year with shaving nearly every day. One only needs a little dab for the entire face.

It is very rare that I can give any product 5 stars but this is indeed the exception. Compared to competitive products it requires less material to do the job, when wet it is slicker than the competitors and actually has a more pleasing odor as well. While it is a bit more expensive I have found it well worth the money and would recommend it anyone that wants a good shave without going broke in the process ......
