I love this mug. It's insulated, but it's fairly thin insulation. This keeps it from being too bulky, but it still manages to keep my coffee hot enough- I don't need my coffee to be scalding hot though.It's stainless steel inside so it's easy to clean but there's a coating on the outside so it doesn't feel like drinking out of a metal mug (I don't like drinking from metal mugs). It also feels very nice in the hand and doesn't get too hot on the outside.I had a previous version of this mug that didn't have the close-able cover on the lid, and if I took it in my car when full, some coffee would splash out. The addition of the sliding cover fixes this issue, and is the main reason I replaced my old one. If you tip it over, coffee will slowly leak out but if you stand it back up quickly enough you might not have any spill out.The lid doesn't screw on so it's just a gasket/friction fit but it's quite secure. I don't think it will come off accidentally, unless you do something extremely violent like dropping on the floor.There's very few parts and pieces so it's relatively easy to clean.

I purchased this size after I received a free mini one. The one I had was so small, so I purchased this one. It may not be the most popular tumbler on the market, but my main reason for purchasing was the quality. The seal on the lid is great and doesn’t mess up after going through the dishwasher cycle. The tumbler itself is also wide enough to hand wash with a sponge.

On time and in good condition

As a 10oz this is a perfect size for me. Anything bigger just doesn't fit my coffee maker and is hard to carry. The cup feels sturdy and the coating (great color) has enough grip not to be slippery, and just heavy enough. It says not dishwasher safe just the lid on top shelve. I feel the lid is the weak point, it is thin and doesn't feel like it will last one drop.

This is my first MiiR purchase. Love it!!! Perfect size and keeps coffee hot for hour++. Love the splash guard on lid and the cup just looks good!! Plan to purchase another soon. I have some larger Yeti tumblers but this 12oz size is just perfect! Highly recommend.

This is a great mug. Keeps things hot for hours. My dad borrowed mine once and I missed it so much, my other travel mugs just don’t compare. Finally got it back and he liked mine so much he got two for himself (this size and the 12oz). One of his is blue (mine’s black) and I really like that color. May have to get another.

powder coat finish is slippery, making it hard to hang onto. Also, this cup is shaped differently than my other (older) MiiR cup. It's fatter body, where my hand naturally grips it, makes it further difficult to hold. It's slightly rounded vs. that the straight yet tapered wall of my older one. It has a stainless steel finish, not powdery or slippery. I wanted another stainless steel finish, but couldn't find one available, even in the MiiR store. Disappointing. The cup works equally well in terms of holding the temperature (hot or cold), so I'd like to keep it. But ... if it slips from my hand a couple more times, it's doubtful.
