Jose Eber Curling Iron, Black, 25mm

I have spent hundreds of dollars on hairsprays, gels, mousse, curling irons, hot rollers, etc... to get my hair to curl and hold it. It wasn't until a co-worker of mine, with similar straight hair, showed up to work with nice curly/wavy hair. I asked how she did it and she told me 1) She curled her hair the other day 2) she didn't have any product in her hair and 3) she used a clampless curler. I did my research and found this brand to have good reviews and be a decent price and took the plunge and bought it. I'm so glad I did. Just to test it, I curled my hair last night before I went to bed. I didn't use any product, just curled my clean-washed hair. I woke up with bouncy curls. I touched it up a little bit before I went to work but I didn't use any product to hold the curl. It's now close to 7 pm and my hair is still curly. I can't believe it. I'm so happy. My hair is bouncy and the curls are shiny without having used a gloss. I wasn't really a believer since I have super straight hair and have tried everything to get it to hold a curl, but the Jose Eber clampless curler did the trick. It's not frizzy looking either, it looks like I have healthy, pretty curls. P.S., my hair is long, down to the middle of my back and I color it every couple of months. I also ran around a lot today and could feel my head sweating, but the curls are still here!

The Jose Eber Clipless curling is fantastic! I had reluctantly stopped at a stand in the mall and allowed the sales person to use a different brand of iron on my hair a few weeks ago. I was shocked to find that the results were natural looking, beautiful curls! I was ready to buy! Then I found out that it was $150! No way. I decided to continue using my faithful GHD straightening iron to curl and forget about it. But I couldn't, I loved the curls. I researched online and found out that you can just take the clip off one of your old irons and turn it clipless. Yea right, I tried that and the curls just fell right out. Finally, I checked Amazon and found this one! The price was great and the reviews were good to, so I thought I would give it a shot. I am SOO glad I did. The iron works even better than the one at the mall and the curls stay so long that I can just get up the day after styling and be ready to walk out the door! Great buy, thank you Amazon!PS The only downfall is that there is nothing on the end of the barrel to hold on to, but they send you a free glove to prevent burns- Use it. And there is no auto shut off, so make sure you turn it off before leaving.

What some view as a blessing, others might equally view as a burden. This has been the story of my life thus far. My long blonde mane has always been renowned by those who know me as a great blessing, for it's sleek and straight nature has rendered the use of a straightener useless. However, little did they know that the collinear character of my hair has been my greatest burden. I longed for hair that curled, hair that gently rose and fell like the waves on the ocean, hair that spiralled softly onto my shoulders. I, never being one truly talented at the art of hair styling, failed tremendously both in skill and effort when attempting to use curling irons. Everyday in a matter of minutes, with little effort, I was able to transform my hair and therefore myself into the person I was meant to be. This curling iron has changed my life for the better. I adopted the name Curly Sue to more accurately reflect my outward persona. This product is highly recommended.

For years I thought that I was the only individual who could not manage a curling iron with a clip. I wondered why the industry couldn't make a clipless curling iron (don't we all wish we had acted on that thought?) I was pleased when these devices came out and waited for one that was a little more affordable. This clipless iron heats up very quickly and does necessitate the use of the safety glove (note: it is not a heat proof glove -- you will still feel heat). I found the process of creating curls to be both a learning experience and a time consuming endeavor. However, once you understand the curling process, you are well rewarded. This iron creates lovely curls that last all day long.Again, to curl a head of hair takes a good deal of time. For someone who is completely inept with a clip curling iron, I am okay with that. I have both a 25mm and a 13mm iron. I have hair that is slightly longer than chin length and have found the 13mm to be my primary curling device.

too easy to burn yourself..makes small curls no matter how much hair you use..

I bought this wand a looooong time ago maybe at Marshalls? Unfortunately, I took it on a trip with me to Guatemala recently and it got smushed in my bag on a hike through the jungle. My bad in taking it with me in the first place. It lasted me so long and I was so stoked I found the SAME ONE on amazon when I returned home. I have thick wavy hair and its hard to tame. This was the only one that got hot enough and was the perfect size for what I wanted my curls to look like. I love how you can do tight curls and loose ones all in one. It is literally one button to turn on, easy to use, and works great. My absolute favorite and will buy this brand and size again and again.

I had purchased a flat iron from one of those kiosk they have in the malls from same maker ( brand) and it had worked awesome. This curling iron not so much. The curls don't stay long and you have to be very careful not to burn yourself it gets super hot. I wouldn't buy another product from Jose Eber again.
