This is an umami game changer and a great secret ingredient to keep in the pantry. We love to mix it with rice, soup, and any veg sautee or filling. It makes a delicious pickle, too! Just chop a seedless cucumber and mix with 5 g of this in a ziplock and you’re good to go in a couple hours. It is highly seasoned so be mindful of sodium in your dish and taste test before/after adding this. We only wish it was cheaper because we use it so much!

Very delicious but very salty as the name suggests
This is a great topping for a number of foods; think plain cooked white rice, gyoza, onigiri, miso soup, and the like. There’s a great flavor under all that salt, so take time to test out the food before adding this topping. It is addictive though, and you’ll find yourself adding it to eggs, pasta, soups, and vegetable dishes. I will admit to adding it to French fries, and it was delicious.

what happened
It’s too exaggerated. The inner packaging was torn apart, but the remaining packaging was not torn apart. It’s not like it was pressed until it exploded.
