Very Cheaply Made
I built a new house and put these locks on all bedroom and bathroom doors. After three years, everyone of these knobs needed to be replaced. I had several locks that actually had a part break inside the lock and the door handle would not open the door. Even though the handle moved up and down, the actuator inside the door would not move. I had to actually drill the lock out because I couldn't get to the screws on the other side. These are VERY cheaply made and not reliable and could result in someone getting locked in a room. I guess you get what you pay for. DO NOT BUY!!!!!!

Excellent replacements
These were to replace existing round brass door handles. They look great; however, they are slightly lighter and thinner, lacking the weight of other door handles, but they do the job. Did I mention they look great?
