Very helpful book
I bought this on reccomendation and wasn't disappointed, it's great ! I'm using anti anxiety pills and together with this book it's helped me. I like the fact that it makes you do exercises throughout the book and can see a lot of my traits in the wording.

The Feeling Good Handbook
This book was referred to in an online self help site that my doctor recommended. The book is very good at helping identify where problems may lie and how to think yourself well again. It has various exercises which at first seem daunting but as you work through them you really do start to feel better. I wish I had known about this book years ago, it would have helped me deal with life and the stuff that gets chucked at you. I will be using this book to keep myself well.

Want to feel good and understand your feelings??
This is widely seen as the 'bible' of understanding stresses and anxieties and is certainly a useful tool. The advice is practical and understandable and is split into specific sections. If I had a reservation it would be that some of the exercises can be a little hard going, but I think that is probably the case with all such books. Overall recommended....

This is just what I need!
Fab book with great working examples to go through at your own pace. I now realise what`s been going on in my world for the last 30+years. The handbook gives me an insight into the powers of my thoughts, words and actions. I wouldn`t be suprised if, in the near future, this type of book becomes a common alternative to prescribed drugs.Feeling good already and only just purchased the book. A big thank you to David D Burns.

Good but dated
Lots of good stuff in this, but it is showing it's age. Lots better and clearer books on cbt of there. I respect the grind breaking nature of the work and the author, but many more have stood on his shoulders since and made more accessible material with less ego and "I'm so great for figuring all this out on my own undertones".Try "CBT for Dummies" instead. (it's better than it sounds)

Great tips to make a long term change
Easy to read and straight to the point. If you're for example feeling anxious, stressed and willing to make efforts to change for good and embrace a happier life, get this book. The key is to do all the exercises in the book and apply the best practice every day of your life. I only discovered this author recently after having trained myself on Moodgym and wish I had known about him way before.

An essential read !
This is the type of self help book that should be read by everyone. So easy to read and of course makes total sense . I loved the author's practical approach. The type of book you will refer to again and again.
