This was purchased specifically for meditation. I had a back injury that prevented me from sitting in a meditation posture (on the floor) without support. It can be used on the floor or on a bench. I found the cushioning to be just right and the construction was superior. It is sturdy and even a bit hard to open (which I think is great) meaning it was put together well. I sat for long periods of time meditating in this and it did was it was supposed to...allow me not to be in too much physical pain. Although not waterproof, I could see multiple uses for this for people; meditation, watching events on bleachers, sitting at the beach. Highly recommended. And while it might be expensive for some, the quality justifies it.

Way comfier than my old chair! It doesn’t slide around, and folds up easy for storage and the padding is seriously cozy.

nice .. but actually a little uncomfortable

It's very sturdy and easy to move and fold. The cushion is comfortable but is on the thin side so for extended sitting a cushion may be best. The chair does not really recline, it is mostly straight up and down so great for your posture but not lazing around

I was worried that the item would be damage in shipping, as I saw in many reviews. The item came in good working order with no damage. It feels solid enough for its intended use. It is comfortable and has really saved my back. Now I just need to get a Table to go with it.

Horrible experience. Seemed to have a manufacturing defect

Sturdy enough with the wood frame but it seems there are some missed opportunities in the name of profit margins at the expense of comfort. I wish the chair could recline more, either in a fixed position or adjustable and that the material was a little softer and thicker.
