Happy soldering and happy desoldering
Great soldering set:Very fast heat up. Basically in 10 seconds.Sleep mode ( initiated when no movement is detected of the iron) is a good thing to protect the tip.Fast response and enough heat capacity. Quality solder is always a must. Silver solder is in general more difficult to work with. With this iron it was so much better compared to a Maplin set.Desoldering: works like a dream.Say goodbye to your wicks.Suction is good. It even sucked up the remaining parts of the pins.If you loose suction, possible it is blocked which can easily be rectified with the included set of tools. You will wonder why you did not buy it before once you get used to it.The set includes a fair set of bits and bops. Three tips in total. Filters and other tools. Even a spare glass tube for the desoldering iron plus air filters.Only thing missing was a brass sponge. The stand has room for this with a bit of creativity.Cable length for both items is good. The soldering cable is very flexible.Instruction manual is minimal but sufficient.Improvement: Would have been nice if they add a list with spare part numbers in the instruction manual.Filters can be bought on other e-commerce websites. All in all for a modest soldering activity a good and decent solder and desolder set.Ps: desoldering of SMD parts won’t work with this. If you have the bed to desolder SMD parts you should look for an other combination.

Everything works well
Soldering iron is high wattage, heats up quickly and retains heat. Desoldering gun is a revelation, old solder "vanishes" with a satisfying slurping sound. Solder collects inside the spring and must be cleaned out, but has large capacity. Impressed with the number of spare filters, springs, nozzles, tips and cleaning rods included. Temperature selection easy. Disassembly for cleaning straightforward. Stand is heavy and stable.

Bad quality!
This broke after one use!!!

Easy Life
Got this today, set it up and turned on the gun. Got hot and sucked the tip solder off... great. Makes quick work of replacing thumb sticks or any through pcb pins. Obviously this is relatively cheap compared to other devices Hakko etc. Build quality is simple and the front buttons feel a little cheap. But it functions well and it is not meant to be a "premium" product.

Suction
Build quality feels good and comes with a soldering iron as a bonus. Takes a bit of time to reach the required temperature to suck solder but does a good job on larger connections. On smaller connections on laptops or graphic cards it struggles so copper braid and flux needed. Using the iron and extra lead on smaller connections and then the sucker, no change. I'm no expert with it and may be using incorrect, but great addition. Recommend fully on older devices.

beware - uses proprietary soldering / desoldering tips at three to four times the price
Save some money with this advice:If you're considering this product because you need both a soldering iron and a desoldering gun, be aware that it uses proprietary tips which are fractionally larger than the standard 900m tips. This size difference means you cannot use the more common and affordable soldering tips available on the market; instead, you are forced to buy this brand's proprietary tips at a cost that is three to four times higher. YIHUA only offers a few basic tip types, which are typically not suitable for anyone with more than a month's experience in soldering. This limitation also extends to the desoldering gun. If you already have a soldering station and are looking to add a desoldering function, it's more cost-effective to purchase a standalone desoldering station from another manufacturer. This move could save you around $50-$60 and give you access to a wide range of inexpensive spare parts. If you don’t yet own either tool, consider purchasing both a soldering iron and a desoldering gun separately. This approach should save you some money, and you’ll still have access to affordable spare parts.

YIHUA 948D-3 | Great Piece of Kit
I was a little unsure when I felt the weight of the 948D-3, but once I started using it I was surprised at the rapid temp acceleration on the iron, much faster than my BK3060, and granted the Heat Suction Gun takes longer but has much more metal to heat. The Suction Heat Gun (Desoldering Gun) works well and in fact, I was surprised again; it's made my job even easier removing many types of sockets from USB-C to HDMI not to mention other components with legs/leads that are very close to the through-hole size, this Suction Gun clears the smallest of clearances.Plus, you get many spares for the Desoldering Gun & I bought an extra Iron just to be safe. It's a worthy tool addition to my workshop I wish I'd bought it sooner...So, in a nutshell, it's a great buy if you're a workshop or a busy hobbyist.

Very effective desoldering station at low cost
This was very easy to set up and worked like a charm for desolering through-hole components quickly and easily. The only criticism I have is that the manual does not explain that the nozzles are pre-tinned, which means they don't appear to have a hole in the end. You have to heat them up and then poke them with one of the provided cleaning tools to open them up. I found this confusing, never having used a machine like this before.
