Great game!
Fantastic game! I played the OG life is strange so it was great to see max as an adult! It would be difficult to understand the story if you hadn't played the original game. Just my opinion

Very nostalgic! Love the story!
Very nostalgic! I love the character variety and mechanics. I haven’t beaten it yet but I thought I’d leave a review for what I’ve experienced so far. The story is absolutely on point! The soundtrack is very well put together as always! Highly recommend 10/10

The sequel that should have been made years ago
Please be aware: multiple spoilers. Don’t read if you don’t want to know what happens. First, as a preamble, let me advise the reader that I played this game all the way through before venturing to review it, unlike others. It was a welcome addition to the LIS franchise; actually, the game I’ve been waiting for since the original. These are story-based games, and so I found LIS 2 and LIS true colors terribly disappointing, because the narratives were bad. I can honestly say that no story-based game has been as good as the original life is strange, in my opinion, though it’s been years since that came out. This game, which is a proper sequel, comes closer than any other that I have played, yet it has its flaws. The positives, which are many: fantastic sound track, many pop culture references, improved graphics, amazing art. An intellectual environment that I don’t believe has ever been equaled in a video game. Multiple decisions that profoundly alter how the story plays out. I would say fantastic, utterly fantastic, just what fans have been craving for years, but for the negatives: a story that is simply too convoluted to invest in, and what is much more important, a lack of heart. The original game featuring max had Kate, Victoria, and Warren, among others, whose backstories were practically guaranteed to make even the hard core gamer tear up. There is nothing similar here. We have a romance between max and Amanda which is kind of cute, but that’s about all. I never felt particularly friendly towards safi. Lastly, and admittedly not as important, the game’s end is not satisfying. It is obvious that whoever wrote it wasn’t done, and if they were made to feel done, they knew in their hearts it was not so. I enjoyed playing this game immensely, but it still needs a lot of work to make it as culturally significant as the first Life is Strange. Worth your money? Definitely. Disappointing? I’m afraid so.

Best of the Series
By far, the best game in the series. This game follows Max, as an adult who has left Arcadia Bay, and let go of her powers.Only to find herself with new powers to switch between realities at all. This surpassed the first game for me, and the ending was surprising in not just that they didn’t go for the cliche cheap ending that they foreshadow, but they also made a very unique decision in how they wrapped up everyone’s view or memory of everything that happened. The only element that I disliked, is how hard they push you at Amanda, romantically. Almost every character seems to be bisexual. I made the decision to reject Amanda every time, but they seem almost reluctant to pair you with the male choice.Other than that, 5 stars.

One of gaming's greatest stories continues!
I absolutely loved the prior LiS games, so I was eager to pick this one up. As with its predecessors, the writing and acting are top notch. The story is compelling and explorative on many levels. I was engrossed from the first minute. Definitely recommended for those looking for a thoughtful, heart-felt story packed with mystery and intrigue. No complaints whatsoever.

So Glad Max is Back!
I have to admit I was a littleee bit nervous (but also excited) finding out there was going to be a new Life is Strange game with Max in it. After years of thinking her story had ended and that there was no way to continue on from the two vastly different possible endings from the first, I didn't know what to expect.Honestly, this game is good. Really good. I've seen a lot of negativity about it, but I think a lot of that stems on the fear of ruining nostalgia and not liking the direction they took with Chloe. I don't want to spoil anything, but they do a nice job of dealing with either ending you chose in the first one fitting into Max's life. They absolutely don't forget that she was a big part of Max's story and she is still a part of this one, just in a different way. There were quite a few references back to the OG game that made me smile (and feel old).I love this more mature and lively 28 year old Max. She's still true to the way she was in the first game but I think they've improved her a lot. The other characters are very likeable as well and the game itself is beautiful. They've come such a long way with graphics and animation. I'm very impressed!I'd absolutely recommend getting this game. I've always held the first Life is Strange dear in my heart, and I enjoyed this just as much.

Max is back let’s go
I really enjoyed this title it was such a blast however I do have some down sides the final 2 chapters were really short and didn’t really tie into the murder mystery by then end its like the devs where rushed to meet deadline but other than that and a certain character not appearing at all it’s still a solid game and I highly recommend

Solid
Came in one piece that’s always a win. The game I would say for the most part is faithful to the ones before and personally I am biased because Max is one of my favorite characters in LIS. Now is it as good as some of the ones before? No. But I would say it is still entertaining and does have elements that make it worth buying. Such as the mew new reality system I find personally to be a fresh take on Max’s powers (I believe there have been variations of her powers in the past in the comics). The story is solid and I will say had some twist I did not expect. Overall the game for me is 8.8/10. I don’t want to say too much because of spoilers.
