Just started using this so hard to give it a review yet. It does make my hair very soft and seems like I have less breakage. I'm apply it twice a week and leaving it in for at least 4 hours Will update after using it for a few months.

Not a huge fan, makes my hair crazy greasy even after a wash and get's everywhere when you try to use the top to disperse it in hair. I haven't used much due to the mess and it continuing to leak after I opened it. Overall, not worth the hype

honestly, i have noticed my hair is much healthier, and smoother than ever however, I cant handle the smell, it is just terrible in my opinion. Definitely recommend purchasing a hat to wear when using. It's simple to apply if you use a brush or gloves but the texture is like a sandy paste but then once warm the oil drips down my face but it definitely added lots of moisture to my dry hair ! Otherwise it's a great value

There are a lot of fakes out there, but this one isn't! It's sourced from Honduras and packaged in the USA. It passed all 5 tests. Here's how to tell if you have the real thing:# 1: check the ingredient label, it should only say batana oil (elaeis oleifera). Some labels can be fake as well, but it's a good starting point.#2: Smell. It should smell a bit like coffee, not exactly like it, but very similar. Some say nutty.#3: The look and consistency. It should be solid at room temperature (it behaves a bit like coconut oil, but its melting point is a tiny bit higher). It's buttery in consistency, not creamy. It should be in the brown color family.#4: When placed in your hand it should slowly melt into a liquid. Another method is to put it on a plate and microwave it for 10 seconds. Either way, it should turn completely liquid.#5: It should easily absorb into your skin, not sit on top. Some fakes will leave a white film on top of your skin. Real stuff will absorb and leave a nice sheen to the skin.

I have not seen much growth yet because in order to use this you have to wash your hair each day. Washing my hair every few days is not good because it will dry my hair out, so I only use this once per week. I wish it was an oil that could sit on your hair for longer than a day so I could get the full benefit.
