The depth of the trap
Not the fastest trap litres per minute but did the job very shallow prevented major excavation in bahroom

Great space saving waste to get the tray really low level.

Modified trap bowl as flooded tray
Cut the compression joint off to use solvent weld pipe per instructions. Had to modify the internal weir as it would not drain fast enough and backed up in the tray. Shower max output is 18ltrs a min. Pipework has 10% fall on it

FRENCH SPEC
Just spoke to wirquin, who have told me that although this is the same seller etc that i bought the membrain version from (which was fine) this one here is the french spec and doesnt work on uk pipe

Spare silicone flaps are almost as expensive as a complete new trap.
Love how this trap gives an extremely shallow below shower tray fitting. Dislike the cost of the spare silicone flaps that I feel it will require from time to time.

Not UK spec
Packaging and instructions not in English and will not fit standard 40mm waste. Supplier wouldn’t accept return.

not designed for UK sewer system
This does not create a water seal. so you will have the smell of the sewer blowing into your bathroom.also the 40mm connection is 40mm so the compression connector will need to be cut off if you are in the uk to be able to connect it to a 40mm push fit or solvent piece which also leads me to believe it is not for the UK market.Seller has returns disabled, so I had to call Amazon for a refund
