It's cute, it small, it's cheap but it's fun! you do have to know it doesn't keep time like a battery driven clock you do have to wind it and you do have to adjust the pendulum if it's running slow or fast until you get it right, even then you'll still have to adjust the time every once in awhile that's just the way old pendulum spring-driven clocks are. but if you don't mind and you like old mechanical designs this is a really cool little clock. Mine did come with the hour hand unattached but I was able to push fit it back into place and it seems like it's working. It says to wind it every day but I find that it dies out a few hours shy of a day.

Quality and so worth the $ because it brought back all my lovely memories or my time in Munich back to me!!!Adorable.

I received the item with certain parts that you could visually see, came apart. I wanted the item for a certain reason, so I put things back together. I was a bit disappointed that I had to do that before I could even hang it up, but thankful that I could fix it myself. Otherwise, I would've returned it. Please have the manufacturers and shippers check everything very well before it is sent to the customer. Thank you.

It worked perfectly, but the pendulum moves very fast, and it's really sloppy swinging... This is due to the fact that the pendulum bob is made of plastic. There's not enough weight to the pendulum to make it a smooth even swing back and forth.I ended up returning as it was as loud as the other little clock that I have like this... It was like a shouting match between the two with the loud ticking! 😁

I have a retro style old kitchen, with mostly Mary Engelbreit decor. I added this next to one of those little antique Weather Houses. The clock is a tiny bit smaller, but looks really cute and seems to be very well made and keeps perfect time, right out of the box. It would be a really cute gift for a little kid, just learning to tell time, or anyone really. I love the little tick-tock sound and the couple going back and forth, on the sees-saw. It adds a little whimsy and happiness to any room.

I am sure it was my own fault for not reading it closely. But this clock is so small you can hold it between your thumb and index finger. There is not much you can do with a clock this small. I have never been able to get it working so I could do anything with it anyway. To me it was just a waste of money.

What an adorable cuckoo clock -- and unbeknownst to me -- used also, to keep time, while practicing my guitar. Bravo!The size is compact -- of course, it's a miniature. The detail is divine, as well as simplicity on winding it -- thanks to the handy written directions and key.Buy one, or two for that matter. You wont be disappointed!

I already reviewed before. Why Amazon wants me to do it again?! It is annoying.We like this clock. We bought two bigger ones before, when we were traveling in German Black Forest, as gifts.We are keeping this one for ourselves.
